About the opportunity Department Description

The Business Management team provide central support for the Global Workplace and Personal Investing business working closely with respective Channel Heads and business managers This includes data analysis & reporting, business governance, first line financial crime oversight and change Project Management Office (PMO) support

Purpose of the Role

We are a Change and Business Management team that think and act strategically, using data-driven insights to provide support for a large portfolio of change programmes We are looking for a PMO Manager who has the ability to think outside the predefined box There is an expectation that you will have a good understanding of the fundamentals that make up a PMO, including overall governance, quality assurance, reporting, risk management and resource tracking Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential Your role will have a global focus and will require collaboration with Portfolio Directors and all areas of the Business including Operations, Finance, Compliance, Risk and other functions

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to own PMO activities for a number of Global Workplace & Personal Investing (GW&PI) change programmes which involves the following

Working with the Programme Manager and senior leaders in GW&PI to ensure the programmes governance framework is fit for purpose, including planning key meetings and workshops
Coordinating and/or delivering agendas and supporting materials for senior forums, including the programmes Steering Committee
Assisting workstream leads & project managers across GW&PI in using and adhering to the governance framework
Driving regular, concise and high-quality reporting on the programme
Providing support for resourcing and prioritisation decision-making
Providing support for the management of programme level risks and issues
Providing support for the identification and management of dependencies between the programme and other initiatives
Supporting the Programme Manager in managing the programmes goals, finances and resources

Experience and Qualifications Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Creating management information at executive and programme level, including experience of preparing papers at steering committee level and above
High degree of proficiency in MS Power Point including ability to develop clear, concise & compelling story lines
Analytical approach and problem solving skills - ability to analyse data (qualitative & quantitative)
High degree of proficiency in MS Excel
Experience of working with cross cultural teams across the globe in project based environment
Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to influence without authority
High degree of comfort in working with ambiguity
Proactive, willing to use initiative
Consistently reliable, adaptable, resourceful, enthusiastic, self-motivated
