Role & Responsibilities

Business/Department Objectives

The teams objective is to Create remarkable customer experience by providing easy, simple, intuitive products and services, tailored for customer segments and deliver consistently across all markets and channels

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Accountable for developing applications using Pega PRPC by providing the planning, coding, and project coordination necessary to implement software changes, enhancements and resolve technical problems
Assists in the build and deployment of applications
Troubleshoots complex system problems providing diagnosis and resolution Ensures application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint Demonstrates advanced understanding of supported main system flows Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions directly affects the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services
Partners with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements
Acts as advisor or coach providing technical guidance to new or lower level analysts; allocates work
Identify the risks in delivery of integration enhancements, develop mitigation plans and surface to the Apps Delivery Manager
Establishes development best practice for the team to follow and develops standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation

Required

Education

Engineering or Technology - Bachelor Degree Electronics/Communications/Computer science

Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience working on Business Process Management (BPM) and similar solutions demonstrating expertise on Pega PRPC, JAVA, AJAX, JSP, ORACLE/SQL, HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML, Portals, WebSphere

Certifications

Pega CSA

Skills

Knowledge of MQ, Unix, Tibco, ESB, SOAP, Web Services, Single Sign On and IBM Portal Server
Ability to serve as an Architect and has the vision to set the architectural direction
Experience with Agile and LEAN is a plus

Other

Comfortable and familiar with startup type environment with ability to deal with ambiguous and dynamic requirements
Willingness and ability to be hands on when needed with passion for software development, quality
Agile Development experience with multiple agile projects
Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities and switch gears
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal as well as external groups at varying levels of business and technical knowledge
Leadership abilities to drive the projects and deliver with quality
Self-motivated and team player
Project management abilities
