Job Description


a Handling of Litigation pertaining to Bank ( by and against the Bank) Defending cases filed against the Bank at PAN India level Ensuring Cases are getting attended to Empanelling of Advocates Briefing of Court Cases to Lawyers, Law Firms, Counsels Briefing of case to business teams and business HOD and providing advise with respect to strategy to be adopted in each case Identifying and obtaining relevant documents from the concerned business team

b Drafting of Plaints, Complaints, Petitions, Written Statement, Evidence etc Providing necessary details in a timely manner to Advocates to prepare the necessary documents

c Maintaining of Litigation MIS and providing data as per internal Teams requirement Reporting of case details to regulatory authorities and Auditors on timely basis Maintaining of files for each case in physical and digital format which should be readily available to be shared with Auditors / Regulators Power Point presentations of the Litigations cases in an effective manner to the Banks Management and carrying out the required changes as specified by the banks Management Updating the next date of hearing in a timely manner

d Meet Customers and try to negotiate and resolve issues out of Court by Settlement


a Ensuring that the notices received from Police or other Government Authorities are replied in a timely manner Attending Police station to represent the Bank in those cases Get the required documents from the concerned business team as called for by the Police or Government Authorities

b Maintaining MIS / date of all the notices received and the replies filed by the Bank Reporting of these notices to regulatory authorities and Auditors on timely basis Maintaining of files pertaining to Notices

c drafting of replies and notices Prepare notices as per business requirement

d Assisting the HR and Admin department with respect to filing cases or issuing notices against Service Providers or employees

3 Miscellaneous-

a Should have good drafting and presentation skills

b Should be well versed in MS Excel and Power Point

c Should be able to travel for the purpose of attending case or any Government Authority
