Position Summary

As a Senior/Technical Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior, Principal and Senior Principal Application Support Engineers, who are focused on delivering technical and functional support to our Cloud customers worldwide This team is engaged in understanding and resolving software implementation issues and post go live technical problems our cloud customers might encounter You, along with your team, will be responsible to own and drive complete resolution of each service incident This team typically involves in technical and functional troubleshooting, both independently and in collaboration with Product Development (applications, Middleware, Database) and Cloud Operations teams, resolving complex issues related to application setup, configuration, design defects, cloud services and infrastructure You will partner with Software Development teams as well as Cloud Operations, to ensure our customers use of these enterprise applications is flawless and they are able to meet their critical business milestones

Note You must be willing to assist with Evening and/or Weekend Duty Manager Cover, on rotational basis OR work an early or late day shift, as per business needs

Job Responsibilities

This position will be based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado You will be directly responsible to recruit, train, coach, appraise, manage performance and retain, best and the brightest Software support professionals within Oracle Cloud You will also be responsible for one or more functional areas within Oracle Cloud, and will work closely with other Fusion Cloud support managers (multiple global locations), to manage a flawless service delivery, to our global clientele You will be responsible to manage team members working in two overlapping day shifts You will work directly with our customers / partners, Implementation & customer success managers & other customer focused functions across the globe, and help manage service delivery to both escalated & non escalated issues You must ensure that each and every customer is handled with a consummately professional attitude and the highest possible level of service You must also ensure that your team takes ownership and responsibility for customers technical service requests from start to finish/resolution and do so with a sense of urgency You must foster a work environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolution activity, cross training and an absolute focus on resolving customer cases, as quickly and effectively as possible You will also participate in projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of technical support delivery, process improvement and automation projects and work hand in hand with Oracle Development and Cloud Operations for fixing Software & Cloud infrastructure issues, which inhibit the seamless use of Oracle Applications

Desired Education, Skills & Experience

BS or Masters Degree (preferred) in one of the following areas Engineering, Information technology, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Operations research, Logistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered

Previous (direct) people management experience, particularly in fast paced, IT services delivery OR DevOps, application or technical support, consulting or escalation management experience in direct customer facing role

Previous experience in functional ERP and/or SCM Applications, middleware and/or cloud support services is preferred Familiarity and use of Enterprise/business applications, specifically in Supply Chain management, Manufacturing, Procurement or related areas eg Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Ideation to Commercialization, Plan to Build etc will be preferred Technical Management skills in areas such as Middleware, web servers, ADF, IDE, Java, XML, SQL is preferred

Demonstrated experience with DevOps transformation and/or Cloud migration to any of Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform and hybrid/private Cloud preferred

Excellent communication, writing & listening skills Be able to communicate well both technically and functionally in highly escalated & tense situations
Ability to discern core issues in an environment where it may be difficult to differentiate the symptoms and the cause
Ability to influence and build cooperative relationships with wide range of audiences ranging from executives to technical specialists
Excellent organization skills be able to develop a coherent plan of action and revise it as the issue or situation progresses;
Ability to persevere in the face of obstacles and ensure customers success
Proven situation-management, Escalation management & customer management skills
Highly skilled at problem-solving & highly developed analytical skills
Exceptional management & team building skills, capable of managing several high level priorities simultaneously without reducing quality
Self-driven, motivated, Pro-active, well organized and a thorough planner
Excellent cross-functional collaborative and communication skills working with multiple departments
Solid experience with change management, incident management and post-mortem process
