What you will be doing

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results
Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications
Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection
Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc

What you bring

Very good understanding of Capital Markets
Strong Understanding of at least one financial asset class and its valuation, trade lifecycle, market and/or credit risk management
Have good analytical skills and have eye for detail
Willingness to go extra mile to understand the functional requirements
Able to communicate effectively at all levels, using a range of communication styles, skills, and processes
Excellent interpersonal skills ability to work with multiple teams
Approachable personality and willing to guide and explain
Systematic way of thinking

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience in project management methodologies is desired including ability to estimate, plan, manage and communicate activities/deliverables of a mid-size project plan, ie, a plan that affects a single system or product family and uses multiple resources
Working knowledge of at least one database management system or a proven ability to learn new technologies and use that knowledge effectively
Effective communication and team skills with an ability to cooperate, present to and participate with peers/team members
Basic knowledge of operating systems and systems administration concepts
Personal commitment to stay current with latest technology concepts
Good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
Identifies and resolves less clearly defined problems using established procedures and/or protocols as guidelines

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
