Roles and Responsibility

Role Summary

Champion for the Operational Efficiency framework across Stores focusing on targets and ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and resource optimization To assist in end-to-end establishment of new store outlets, train and develop the workforce to adhere to the Companys Experience, conduct store audits and enhance customer experience through consistent interactions with the Store Teams

Roles & responsibilities Store Operations Efficiency Framework

1 Study the store operations and design the operations framework for efficient functioning of stores to meet business targets in keeping with the Companys Experience

2 Highlight key aspect of store performance and develop processes and metrics for measuring each section of the store

3 Train/educate key stakeholders in each Store on the Operations Efficiency Framework

4 Prepare a framework for monthly dashboard and audit reports for giving feedback on Managers to the Management on the Operational Excellence reports

4 Manage the new store set up with the perspective of adherence to operations efficiency framework

Store Operations

1Define the Companys Experience for every role in each store

2 Champion the Companys Experience with frequent checks and reviews

3 Review operations across stores maintaining a focus on Store Targets

4 Understand trends in performance, analyse root causes and suggest corrective actions to Management

5Developing the Stores team to support in delivery of business for each role at the Store

6 Review maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program

7 Visit to Stores to conduct training need analysis for Guest Services levels in Operations - Team member, Floor Supervisor and Store Manager

8 Implement effective control measures to reduce running costs of the Stores

SOP Compliance

1 Understand the complete sequence of store operations and relevant touchpoints for thorough implementation of SOPs

2 Provide adequate training to all stores staff for aligning to SOPs

3 Conduct biweekly audits and surprise audits to check on compliance to SOPs

4 Ensure compliance for driving the Companys Experience standards across all stores

5 Formulate a transparent grading system for evaluating SOP compliance by stores- Identify store that adheres to SOP for monthly SOP Compliance Award

Co-ordination & Reporting

1 Co-ordinate with HR department to ensure adequate manpower planning at each store

2 Ensure basic hygiene and amenities are provided to staff

3 Prepare monthly audit reports give feedback to Store Manager and Management for improving operational efficiency

Qualification Span of Experience

Masters Degree in Operations Management10 years of relevant experience in retail hospitality with multi-store operations/ training experience
