DESCRIPTION Operations Executive I Have Space
The I Have Space program (IHS), is an India innovation program designed to partner with the micro business ecosystem of neighborhood stores, enabling them to leverage the e-commerce industry for their growth Amazon India partners with local store owners across different cities to deliver products to customers within a 2-4 Kilometer radius of their store These local entrepreneurs understand their area well and have immense goodwill in their neighborhood to efficiently deliver and receive products Amazonin has successfully unlocked the potential of such storeowners, allowing them to supplement their regular income and generate more footfalls in their stores On an average, Amazon Indias store partners deliver between 20 to 30 packages a day, earning a fixed amount per delivery The program was set up as a pilot in May 2014 with 15 stores and has rapidly grown to a network of close to 20,000 IHS stores in over 350 cities across India

Given the large rapidly expanding geographical reach of the Amazon Last Mile network, we plan to leverage it to extend the relationship with our customers and are looking for a Operations Executive to lead the next phase of growth for the I Have Space program

With 20000 stores, IHS is one of the largest offline presence for Amazon India We plan to utilize this network to provide a large offline marketing channel for multiple Amazon businesses and brands they work with This channel can be used by businesses to reach end customers and sellers (product launch / sampling, marketing communication etc) We will also work with the Amazon corporate branding team to brand IHS stores for better visibility and top-of-mind recall through improved presence The role will also include end-to-end execution of the plan on ground and P&L tracking

This role will own the complete end-to-endconceptualization, business model development, launch, sustenance and growth - of multiple programs (new and existing) within the IHS channel The key responsibilities of the role will be
(a) Drive the growth of IHS and the High-Density program
(b) Work with key stake holders across various functions to define and implement program initiatives
(c) Drive the network against business goals Conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine executive-level reporting on the networks current performance
(d) Drive the branding activity of all HD Points and IHS stores
(e) Support HD Points program with onboarding, and driving quality metrics
(f) Work with cross functional teams (tech, finance, accounting, legal, compliance) to ensure that program is executed as per plan
(g) Own and maintain reports and data tracking for various engagement and account management programs
(h) Drive quality initiatives
(i) Work closely with multiple stakeholders Business, Other Last Mile Program and Operations teams, Finance, Legal, other internal / external stakeholders, and leadership teams to define, set-up and sustain the existing processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will be the winning combination of a strong stakeholder manager, with understanding of working with a geographically diverse and vast team from external store at one end of the spectrum to business stakeholders on the other, an analyst adept at modelling and building business cases and a sharp process expert who can build efficient scalable processes

This role is high-impact, high visibility which will give exposure to the India-wide Last Mile operations and other stakeholders among corporate teams The role will own critical business and leadership goals taken up for the I Have Space for 2019 and beyond and also help shape the new capabilities for the Last Mile network for the next 3-5 years
The role will be a blend of building strategic road-maps, co-creating the product and owning the program and processes that will enable the large-scale ground execution of the business goals

2 years of operations / retail experience with understanding of trade marketing and execution and dealing with a geographically vast and diverse network
A person with excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong change management and influencing skills; ability to negotiate across all levels
A person with the ability to create and sustain urgency, and a proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects including communication across all levels and teams in the organization senior leaders, stakeholder teams, ground operations teams
A person who can make courageous recommendations and decisions to drive significant organizational change
A person who can showcase judgment and decision-making skills to balance customer experience with financial impact

Work experience operations/ program execution in the Consumer Goods, e-commerce or related industry will be an added advantage
