Job Description:

We have been retained by our client, a well-established, professionally managed, foreign bank to identify a National Sales Head -Branch Retail Assets to be based at Mumbai

Job Purpose

- Responsible for ensuring that the banks sales objectives for retail asset products across all branches in the country are met

- Developing sales strategies and managing retail asset teams in order to achieve set sales goals, targets and revenue

- To deliver productivity and monitor banks branches and channels to attain required targets

- Plan, organize, direct and control retail asset business activities and resources in order to meet retail business objectives

Job Requirements

- The Role is responsible for the retail asset sales through branches on a pan India basis

- Achievement of top-line & bottom-line numbers for Retail Assets products

- To develop business plans and sales strategies for penetrating new accounts and managing existing high-profile clients while maintaining strong relationships with the banks branches

- To network within the branches with various support functions to achieve the desired results

- Managing the retail products and cross-selling of retail asset products across the branches for deeper market penetration and reach

- Coordinating with the branch and being a decisive promoter between the bank branches and retail asset team

- Planning, developing and executing innovative strategies to achieve desired targets through branches and various segments

- Preparation of annual business plans, annual budgets, and monthly management reports for the business

- Responsible for managing and controlling the sales budget

- Ensure appropriate operational procedures are in place to uphold & monitor activities to ensure compliance with Sales policies and standards

- Implement strategies to grow net revenues and endorse cost-effectiveness and efficiency

- Updating and coordinating with retail sales and ensuring that they are updated on the market behavior on a daily basis for smooth achievements of set targets

- Benchmarking with competition and identifying gaps in the current system to ensure efficient and robust processes

- Ensure the productivity of all segments along with the branches

Candidates Profile

Candidates should be MBAs with about 12 to 15 years- experience in the Retail Assets Business of which at least 5-6 years should be selling through branches in Banks/NBFC sector Experience with banks will be preferable
