What do you get to do in this position

Schneider Electric is launching an ambitious program to renew its back office architecture around SAP S/4 Hana to enable both shared efficiency and unique processes to serve the customers and multiple business models

The Digital Core Architect reports to the Enterprise Architect lead and is dotted line to the Digital Core program manager

Mission Define the architecture and follow the implementation of the Digital Core based on SAP S/4 Hana and peripheral systems, including the positioning in the overall Enterprise Architecture landscape

Skills

- Analysis of complex problems starting from the business architecture, deep dive on the details and understanding the nuances beyond the words

- Synthesis simply explain a complex topic to non-technical people

- Communication and people networking (circle of influence) with the other architects (especially Master data, CRM and Web), the product owners and the delivery teams

- Innovation mindset Challenge the status quo while being realistic

Technical knowledge

SAP ECC-S/4 knowledge BASIS, BAPI, SD-MM-PP-PS-CS-FI/CO configuration and customization
API management and integration
EDI
Software Development and Engineering
Architecture methodology (TOGAF) and modelling (Archimate)
Cloud and micro-services

Functional knowledge

Discrete Manufacturing (MRP, production execution)
Order management (customer order, fulfillment)
Accounting and controlling
Customer Project
Services

Qualifications

This job might be for you if you have the following technical knowledge

Analysis of complex problems starting from the business architecture, deep dive on the details and understanding the nuances beyond the words
Synthesis simply explain a complex topic to non-technical people
Communication and people networking (circle of influence)
Business acumen
Core Technology (at least 3 programming languages and 2 package software implementations, network and database basic concepts, integration and API)
