Job Description:

As a product marketing manager, you will be a leader on the team responsible for telling the world (and company) the story of our product You will be expected to be our chief advocate for a specific feature set and its benefits Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting the strategy around the messaging and marketing for new launches

Responsibilities

Market intelligence - be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria

Create product content (eg sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, ROI, Competitor comparison matrices, website copy, blog posts, forum responses) to articulate the benefits of our products and to support demand generation campaigns and sales cycles

Demand Generation - support and work with other marketing units on lead generation activities, including trade shows, email campaigns, etc, with messaging and campaign assets (Whitepapers, Solution guides, infographics, etc) and ensure sales have appropriate follow up materials to execute on leads

- Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products

- Understand the competitive landscape - be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned

- Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas

- Develop a marketing plan - for the products you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers

- Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes

- Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan

- Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works

Requirements

- 4+ years of product/digital marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in a SaaS, IT, Software, Internet, E-commerce or product team

- Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as PipeDrive, salesforce

- Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Zapier, Omniture, and Google Analytics

- Power user of networking tools such as , Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

- Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is or isnt - working

- Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer

- Excellent people and management skills to interact with cross-functional teams and third parties

- Having exposure to international product marketing would be preferable

- Should have prior/current experience on Facebook Marketing, Google Adword, Email marketing, Content Marketing
