Position Overview

Our extensive suite of products is unique in the industry, and is comprised of global market indexes, global market and portfolio performance analysis through MSCI Enterprise Analytics and MSCI Global Intel, our market data engine which underpins our offerings

The Executive Director-Transformation will be primarily responsible for re-engineering existing data collection, content generation and quality assurance processes

The Executive Director will also oversee the planning and execution of business projects

Scope of Responsibility

- Evaluate and continuously improve processes for data collection

- Identify opportunities for implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and other new-age technologies for data collection

- Evaluate processes and content overlap between MSCI data and other asset classes collected by MSCI and re-engineer processes to integrate teams, processes and sources

- Create process maps to evaluate re-engineering opportunities and opportunities to merge/split teams collecting data

- Systematically identify manual tasks and processes bottlenecks that can be solved through classical system improvements and enhancements

- Re-engineer quality assurance and quality control processes

- Increase the system-based quality checks

- Use Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and other technologies to enhance output checks

- Evaluate and implement industry leading QA practices on both data and content

- Work with other teams within MSCI in support of planned product enhancements and expansions

- Participate and shape discussions on scaling up operations, process changes, business priorities and client expectations

- Undertake projects that aim to improve the teams workflow and QA processes and ensure that these are executed in line with the teams Change Management Processes

- Evaluate vendor collaboration opportunities for real estate client base

- Manage a team based in Mumbai and also handle recruitment and selection of new staff

- Undertake performance reviews and regular appraisals to ensure that each team member works towards clearly defined and accepted personal goals

Specific Knowledge/Skills and Experience

- A minimum of 14 years relevant working experience in a high-quality process and production -driven environment, with at least 3-4 years- experience in leading a team

- Effectiveness in working with cross-functional and multi-national teams

- Minimum Bachelors degree in relevant field
