Commercial Lending / Credit Risk Assessment

To oversee and lead the Client Services and Strategy teams which manage and grow our existing client accounts by devising client strategy, developing client relationships and delivering client objectives for our commercial lending teams based out of Gurgaon, Bangalore and Sri Lanka


Project and Transitions

- The candidate will be responsible for Whiteboarding / new client solutioning, presales and post sales support, project transition, project management, client engagement, strategy formulation and team management in Commercial Lending / Credit Risk domain

- For new projects, candidate should be willing to assume the responsibility of entire project starting from Stakeholder communication, Project Planning, Requirements Gathering, Effort Estimation, Resource Assignment, tracking Development/build phase, ensure timely and seamless service delivery

- Expertise in understanding client requirements in commercial lending transformation initiatives and coming out with thoughtful and creative solutions for seamless outsourcing engagements Also coming up with interesting and innovative ideas for digitization in Lending and supporting automation initiatives for the Commercial Lending business

- Proficiency in managing service delivery operations with key focus on identifying accounts, defining SLA- s, contracts & SOPs Skilled in ensuring optimal utilization of resources & handholding of business partners & key stakeholders

- Applying a structural approach to achieve project goals in alignment with agreed scope, budget and schedule

- Preparing project related documentation and setting up other related logistics; steering team management from inception through completion

- Evaluating and reporting risks, issues and dependencies along with strategy to timely mitigate them

Client engagement

- To oversee and lead the Client Services and Strategy teams as they manage and grow existing client accounts

- To create and develop commercial opportunities with existing clients maximizing account and revenue growth

- To build a pipeline of future work and ensure that the companys existing client revenue target is achieved

- To obtain client feedback and drive increases in client satisfaction and engagement

- To negotiate beneficial and competitive rate cards and contracts with client procurement teams

- To manage tracking and reporting of performance to ensure team accountability and quality of service


- To drive client service excellence and a culture of delighting clients

- To ensure that your teams are continually developing their digital and marketing expertise

- To develop highly effective teams that attract the best account people in the industry

- To attract, develop and retain talent building a track record of developing leaders

Required Background

- The candidate should have experience in handling team(s) of 40+ members

- 10+ years of experience in commercial lending including origination, underwriting and portfolio monitoring activities

- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related field of study

- Significant experience in a senior management or executive level position

- Strong marketing thinking and understanding of the communication disciplines

- Exemplary client service skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships

- Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail

- Well-developed inter-personal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders

- Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others

- Proven leadership experience managing teams and coaching and mentoring individuals

- Excellent understanding and experience of the digital industry

- The candidate should have experience in managing entire new client cycle including origination, positioning / value proposition, solution structuring, transitioning and service delivery monitoring

- The candidate should have experience in complete delivery set up, smooth roll-out of services and the implementation of best practices, feedback mechanisms, hiring and training the team

- Ensure SLAs are tracked and met for projects managed

- Should have worked on strategic pitches for new clients and in transitioning of onshore process to offshore locations

- Should possess sound knowledge of corporate banking products with proven ability in thinking strategically about clients- needs to deliver products to key accounts across verticals and geography
