Job Description:

Responsible for selling/promoting Daniel products & services and preserving the customer base/business within assigned territories & accounts Establishes and implements strategic sales plan to expand customer base and meet monthly/annual bookings quota

Essential functions

Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential opportunities

Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential business/client volumes and focuses on the strategically fit business

Works with ISR, CST and operations to get orders entered & expedited when needed and provide customers with quick responses and expert support

Keeps management informed by providing competitive data, industry/market trends, customer preferences and account/territory analyses

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and marketing techniques

Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management and directing (working with) the Daniel ISR/CST organizations

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and participating at assigned industry functions/events

Provides historical account related sales and bookings data as needed

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated to the channel and implemented within the channel

Education / Experience / Language skills required

BS degree in Engineering or Business, plus five to seven years of sales and managerial experience is preferred or at minimum 12-15 years of ultrasonic sales experience and managerial experience in lieu of a undergrad degree

Must demonstrate strong experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management

Must have extensive experience in Oil & Gas Measurement with a proven record of success in sales or sales management

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to help develop and implement sales growth and actions plans in new markets and with new products
Strong customer service orientation must remain confident when dealing with negative situations
Must create a culture of continuous improvement
Must possess good oral, written and presentation skills

Work Environment

75 PERCENT day-travel to customer office with less than 25 PERCENT overnight, remote location
