What will your role be at Meesho?

- Manage the overall commercial and procurement aspects including budgeting, negotiation and vendor purchases for cost optimization


- Build a robust framework for supplying chain efficiencies on key categories sold on the platform

- Partner the Business Development team and create win-win strategies for the platform and Suppliers

- Negotiation of all commercial terms associated with purchasing/sourcing/ agreements or other services including fixed assets

- Managing Vendor relationships and monitoring performance Maintain all vendor related information like agreements, purchase orders (creation and release), payments etc

- Handling Non trade commercials/expense specially in SCM, Facilities, contract manufacturing etc

- Contract/Agreement negotiations and drafting of commercial clauses with the stakeholders for cost reduction

- Maintaining commercial MIS for reporting

- Performing analysis on estimated costs utilizing cost/price analysis

- Tracking supplier performance to ensure compliance

- Participating in negotiations with business partners to assist them to develop financial forecasts based on analysis of initiatives, long-term vision and strategic plans

- Streamlining process improvement and quality control initiatives (if any) to minimizing company cost and time
