The Mastercard Industrial Placement is aimed at early career talent, to develop skills and provide fantastic work experience Successful candidates will be assigned to an innovative and exciting team for 12 months

The program
You will participate in our Industrial Placement Program, a fantastic year with a variety of opportunity You will be assigned to a specific team and have some great deliverables to work on for your time with us You will also have access to suite of training and development opportunities throughout the year We aim to help you build a fantastic network across the business, have insight into multiple elements of the organisation and utilise the placement platform to enable you to make the most out of your final year at university You will work with our teams, successful managers and executives who inspire, mentor, and coach others toward successful careers here at Mastercard

Your role

Vocalink Mastercard is undergoing a strategic level of business change and growth, developing new revenues specifically by serving new International clients via the provision of regional Hubs, upon which, ACH related products and associated value-add products will be delivered and supported
You will be part of the Service Management team, who are based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and the purpose of this role is to ensure that all international services are delivered consistently day to day across all international products (HUBs and Software Sales) through continual service improvements

The team are heavily involved in all aspects of service and support delivery and we have to work in collaboration with both UK and internationally based stakeholders within Vocalink and Mastercard to ensure alignment and consistency, with a key objective to deliver very high levels of customer support on live services Therefore the work is varied, challenging and exciting in equal measures

Your role will be to support the various functions within this department, specifically on
Team analysis and statistics
Continual Service Improvement
Service Design
Bid responses
Customer Satisfaction
Service Management collateral

There will be an opportunity to work across the whole ISO team during your placement so there is a requirement to travel within the UK to other southern based offices from time to time

What you need

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically on Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Vision
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong strategic and conceptual aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Studying a Sandwich placement degree and be in their second year of studies
- Minimum predicted classification of a 21 or equivalent GPA of 32 (or CAP of 4)
- Languages English required
