Job Requirements

BE / Btech / MSc Chemistry with 5 to 7 years of experience in Ion Exchange Resins / water treatment or chemical sales and marketing

Job Role


  • Be responsible for Sales for -



  1. Products - Standard and Specialty Resins

  2. Geography Designated



  • Ensure implementation of the Sales Management process through Sales Force and make reports on the following at suitable time frequency



  1. Enquiries

  2. Working Platforms,

  3. Visit Reports

  4. Bucket wise AR Collection



  • Meet Target customers; understand applications to generate enquiries for Specialty & Standard Resins



  • Recommend appropriate Resins based on technical requirements and process conditions, from existing range of Tulsion Resins or communicate to Product Management Group through prescribed format, wherever new Resins are required



  • Engage with Product Management Group on new Product requirements, sharing and receiving application knowledge and reconfirmation of performance guarantees / warrantees



  • Seek new applications for existing range of Tulsion Resins



  • Meet and Network with prospective customers, key decision makers, influencers, Process Licensors and position Tulsion brand effectively



  • Develop agents in designated business territory to generate enquiries and business for Specialty & Standard Resins as per business model



  • Submit call Reports to Business Manager / Sales Head once a month along with a summary of key enquiries addressed and actions necessary to maintain growth



  • Consolidate and Update Working Platform, Enquires in Hand twice a month and have a summary of enquiries moving into Working and Buying Platforms every month To upload and maintain all the platform details in Salesforce



  • Build and Maintain Working platform with minimum 3 times value of ABP ( Annual Business Plan)



  • Ensure Price realization in consultation with Business Manager / Sales Head so as to maintain 30% RMC for speciality resins and suitable % RMC for standard resins (RMC Raw Material cost)



  • Monitor Booking, Invoicing & AR Collection of Territory monthly


(AR Accounts receivable)


  • Ensure Booking & Invoicing with timely and secure payment terms



  • Credit management as per Credit policy To seek consent of Business Manager / Sales Head before allowing any credit which is not in line with Credit policy



  • Track customers, credit record and communicate dispatch hold on customers in case of any payment defaults and maintain advance / secure payments thereafter



  • Engage with all customers on regular basis



  • Obtain performance reports of Resins commissioned in the Region and monitor customer satisfaction



  • Resolve Customer technical & performance issues with knowledge inputs from Product Management Group Seek Product Management intervention or visit as per the requirement



  • Give monthly commitment report (CR) Form in the last week of previous month, for every month to Business Manager / Sales Head To update status of Projections made and expected invoicing for the current month every week



  • Engage with Order Execution Group every week to resolve on commercial & delivery issues Involve Business Manager / Sales Head if appropriate decision is necessary



  • Prepare Annual Business Plan in November / December of every year for Specialty and Standard Resins, Country wise, Customer wise, Product wise and Quarter wise



  • Update Business Manager / Sales Head once a month on Market Trends, Customer requirements, Competition status, Competition moves on Products, Pricing and customers served by competition



  • Ensure Timely appraisal of self every year Ensure completion of annual Goal Plan as per schedule every year



  • Provide Inputs for Strategic Business Plan once a year to the Business Manager / Sales Head on Business Opportunities and emerging applications
