Description

- As the India Sales Head, you will own the responsibility of driving Sales pan India for the Life Sciences Vertical through a team of Account Sales Managers

- You will be measured on revenue growth through net new business and up sell/cross sell as well as recurring business through client retention

Achieve revenue goals and other sales metrics by

- Responsible for meeting established new business revenue and client retention goals

- Accountable for generating a significant and consistent stream of new business revenue for the company by successfully selling our companys value proposition to new clients

- In charge of the overall client relationship from inception to contract implementation

- Ensures that all of the clients needs and expectations are met

- Aggressively prospect, network and pre-qualify opportunities to maximize sales productivity

- Effectively manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle and track activities

- Provide written proposals and quotes to prospective clients

- Outbound calling/meetings from qualified lead lists as well as self-identified prospects (trade shows, conferences, etc)

- Responding to inbound leads from current client referrals, marketing generated campaigns, web searches, etc

- Developing relationships with referring third parties brokers, consultants, other vendors, etc

Profile

- 10-15 years of direct sales, account management experience, ie Business-2-Business

- Experience in selling both products and services - preferably in cold chain logistics & supply chain industry

- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

- Ability to communicate well in both English, Hindi and preferably other major regional languages

- Ability to work as part of a team within the assigned group and cross-functionally

- Ability to present technical presentations and product demonstrations to wide-spectrum of audience including senior management & technical customers/prospects

- Ability to influence others and act as a change agent in the organization

- Ability to perform research, analyze data and draw conclusions

- Independent worker with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

- Demonstrates a strong technical aptitude coupled with a focus on customers

- Proven records of managing successful sales team required

- Excellent track records of selling in the relevant industries

- Solid understanding of all aspects of cold chain, supply chain and logistics in domestic shipments & exports

- Post-Graduate or Bachelors degree with honours
