Job Summary

As a Manager of NetApp Americas Professional Services Programs, you are maniacal about the customer experience! You never settle for the way things are and you always look to improve! You love working with people and thrive on cross-functional collaboration You also have an opinion and seek to proactively provide input into the programs needed to improve the customer experience and become more efficient You will be responsible for driving strategic programs within PS that create success for our customers and uphold NetApps Professional Service the standard of excellence Your responsibilities include leading, managing and developing people to be the best that they can be for themselves and NetApp You plan and manage programs to meet service sales, service delivery, quality, consistency, revenue and cost goals for PSP from initiation through delivery

Own project management of key initiatives, delivery and results
Maintain overall responsibility for the success of strategic and business improvement programs within Americas PS
Key responsibilities include working cross-functional with all stakeholders to identify and gain alignment around a set of deliverables and program milestones that lead to strategic solutions
Enable cooperation and alignment in the program across all roles and functions
Establish and drive the process, tools and metrics to drive programs across the AMER geo
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the effective operation of the function
Provide management oversight to the Program Management team of professionals (approximately 3-5 individual contributors to start), to drive the successful achievement of program goals
Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables
Identify needed resources for projects; define and assign major project roles
Interface with cross functional teams including the PS field, Global Practices, ETS Operations and others as needed

Job Requirements

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work with minimal direction
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Deep knowledge of service lifecycle, tools, processes, and measuring success through metrics
Demonstrated experience working cross functionally to accomplish goals and objectives
Experience with developing project plans and determining success criteria
Proven people-leadership skills to include coaching, guiding and performance management
Proven track record of surpassing objectives and delivering exceptional results
Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks proactively and resolve issues; and escalate when appropriate
Excellent change management and mentorship skills, providing guidance as you help lead teams through transformation
Proven ability to communicate, negotiate and influence senior business leaders while quickly earn the trust of sponsors and stakeholders
Ability to understand project and resource interdependencies within a program or portfolio
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization with clarity and precision
Demonstrated strategic skillset able to synthesize and translate internal and external customer inputs, business performance metrics and strategic directives into projects and action plans
PC Skills fluent in Microsoft Office applications

Education

BS/BA degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in related service, operations, and/or customer facing roles, as well as a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a people manager; or equivalent combination of applicable education/certifications/training and relevant professional experience Prior people management experience with direct reports is required

3 years of experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects including process creation, process documentation, and process implementation required

Desired

PMP Certification

Knowledge of workflow management and other systems and tools that help create efficiency

Knowledge of KPI, metrics and dashboard implementation and management
