As a shared service across PMO, the Programme PMO Manager will ensure compliance with the Banks Policies, Standards & Procedures (including e-PMO Project Governance Standards) for Risk & Compliance Change projects


The Programme PMO will provide support to Risk & Compliance Change PMO Programme Leads, Programme Managers and Project Managers through the following key responsibilities

Project creation

Advises and assists Project Managers through project set up and PED creation via Clarity and ensures complete and quality documentation for PRC review

Phase Gating & Milestones

Generates phase gate reporting for scheduling project reviews

Ensures L0/L1 milestones and phase gate milestones are in place Ensure documentation requirements met at phase gates

Working with Project Managers to ensure milestones fully populated in Clarity

Produces milestones reporting from Clarity, highlighting where overdue or at risk, discussions with Project Managers to understand issues and mitigating actions

Data Quality

Advises Project Managers on functionality and assists in closing data gaps to produce Clarity generated status reports, steering committee packs, etc

Collates and QAs monthly status reporting for Risk & Compliance change projects

Proactively closing data quality gaps for the projects in Clarity

Follow up on projects closures, ensures all relevant documentation is available & all milestones are closed, reports final position for closure report, etc

Management Reporting

Ensure regular engagement and reporting to stakeholders on project status & progress, delivery plan and any potential red flags that may impact delivery

Produces monthly status dashboard

Produces monthly Programme Presentation Pack, Project Presentation Pack

Follow up on all Project Review Committee decisions, ie implementing changes to budget, timelines, scope, etc

Financials Management

Maintains team budget plans and ensures all budgets are correctly set in Clarity

Produces monthly financials MI from Clarity and highlights issues

Assists in updates on monthly costs plans, re-forecasting activities & variance analysis and reporting

Collates and coordinates accruals and recharges from Project Managers and validates successful booking

Resource Management

Maintains overall team resource plan and ensures all business resources are captured in Clarity

Produces monthly timesheet reporting and highlights key variances to Project Managers

Vendor Management

Raises and tracks purchase orders in the e-Procurement system

Raises and tracks all business invoices via e-Procurement system


Up-to-date Project Artefacts complete, correct and compliant

Phase Gate & Milestones Management, Monitoring and Reporting

Within-spend budget plans, monthly financials variance analysis

Effective Vendor Management with proper costs monitoring

Updated, accurate & complete Resource Plan

Management Reporting - Monthly Status Dashboards & Presentation Pack

Training & Point of Contact of Project Managers on Banks Policy, Standards & Procedures for Risk & Compliance Change projects


Minimum 7 years Project Management Office experience in a MNC, with the last 3 years as a manager

Well versed in Project Management tools including Clarity System

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Degree Holder & PMP certified

Project Management Office experience in the banking industry preferred

Effective communicator and excellent stakeholder management skills

Able to multi-task and deliver within a fast-paced dynamic environment
