Reporting Manager National Operating Officer

Job Purpose

- US headquartered Mid size IT Company is currently looking for a Human Resources Manager for their Vadodara, India office to manage, and perform HR related functions in that office location The role requires a broad range of human resources skills that range from recruiting, to policy and procedure development, and community engagement

- The organization is facing multiple challenges in the area of recruitment, having right policies & procedures in place, maintaining employee handbook, employee retention, initiating training & development activities as well as overall smooth organization operation

- The new incumbent will be responsible for end to end recruitment that includes not only attracting the right talent but also having ability to define Compensation & Benefits benchmark for the organization

- Lack of initiative on Talent Management & Development is affecting employee motivation & retention The leadership team would to align the India office with all HR policies & procedures currently being practiced in the US office

- The new incumbent will also be responsible to ensure all the compliance are addressed with respect to Provident Fund, Gratuity and any other statutory requirements

- The company is growing rapidly, hence they would like to hire an individual who comes with lot of agility, has a proactive approach and can work in budget conscious & fast paced environment while always thinking ahead to be an integral part of the business growth

Key Responsibilities

- Acts as an HR Business partner for the Vadodara office, performing the HR functions related to workforce planning, staffing (hires and terms), onboarding, employee engagement and development, HR policy understanding and compliance; succession planning; employee relations

- Suggests best HR practices to local, and global management

- Manages, creates, and maintains HR policies and procedures that are specific to the Vadodara office, including incentive and engagement programs

- Performs new hire orientation, including any on-boarding process formalities

- Proposes tracks and maintains training needs and plans for employees

- Assists in the facilitation of annual merit and performance review process for Vadodara office

- Interfaces with Payroll to troubleshoot and resolve employee payroll issues and ensures proper employee data is entered in HRMS records

- Assists managers with performance management, including preparation of employee reprimands and performance improvement plans

- Directs all Human Resources efforts for the Vadodara Office, including supervision of staff

- Responds to the management team and employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs

- Collaborates with employees and management to align employee behavior with the companys philosophy and ideology

- Resolves employee issues by investigating complaints and concerns; evaluating and offering possible courses of action; providing advice, guidance and direction

- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues

- Maintains compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations Collects and analyzes requisite data and makes recommendations on trends and patterns

- Manages recruitment efforts and diversity initiatives, including requisition preparation and outreach

- Assists local management with budgetary control measures and suggestions

- Acts as a liaison between employees and division level HR staff

- Manages community outreach relating to recruiting and other firm initiatives

- Other duties as assigned, including the negotiation in the context of procurement of a variety of purchase initiatives for the local office

Qualification & Past Experience

- Bachelors degree in Business, or related field preferred

- Minimum 10 years progressive experience, including at least 3 years in supervision in human resources

- Management degree in Human Resources or SPHR certification a plus
