Manager - Graduate Programme Coordinator 0000DMPR


Role Purpose

Support the Graduate programme managers to manage and execute the end to end Graduates Programme within HOST This includes Recruitment, Selection, Development and Exit of the programme building the right connection with the overall Talent Management Strategy

Day to day activity includes Support on Project management of all aspects of planning and execution for the recruitment, selection, performance management and career development activity for all Graduates in HOST Manage all programme related MI, maintain dashboards, use data effectively to provide necessary guidance and insights to Programme manager, Head of Talent and Business leaders Manage the BAU aspects of Graduate programme

Key Accountabilities-

Recruitment & Selection

Use available data to actively support in creating an ideal marketing and attraction campaign

Support in delivering the marketing and attraction campaign for graduate hiring in conjunction with the other business lines team

Candidate management post offer acceptances

Ad-hoc recruitment related projects

Programme Management/Rotations

Support programme manager in identifying rotations, managing database of all rotations and graduates to ensure seamless management of rotations

Support in conducting annual global review of graduate programme and work in partnership with Business and HR Heads to globally implement any enhancements

Liaise with graduates and line managers during the placement and provide required support to both

Support in orientation sessions for graduates and placement sponsor, transition from one rotation to the next etc

Support in permanent placement process

Stakeholder Management

Support the programme manager in making all relevant data accessible and available in a format that supports in driving Graduate Steering Committee meetings with senior business stakeholders

Collaborate with site HRGs and Learning leads and business leaders for day to day execution of the programme

Performance & Talent Management

Support in the global review and redesign of related development/performance processes by making all relevant data available

Ensure accurate performance, talent and rotation data is collated, recorded and monitored globally

Ensure frameworks are in place to obtain regular feedback from graduates and line management to support in on-going development of graduates

Conduct periodic pulse check meetings, record observations and share them with relevant stake-holders to aid in making key decisions pertaining to managing the programme Manage and engage with the Graduates to keep them on track and excited with the programme by supporting their development Be a coach or mentor when required

Compensation Review

Support in graduate compensation review with the Human Resources Generalist teams

Global Induction Programme Management

Manage all relevant logistics to run the Graduate Induction programme at Group, HOST and regional level

Project management and implementation of on-going learning interventions and post programme activities

MI & Hiring Demand

Ensure regular reports are shared with key stake-holders

Responsible for the annual season review and conduct stakeholder review meetings

Support the annual process for determining global hiring demand and gaining Business and HR Head sign off on headcount and costs


Support wider global graduate recruitment and development and retention/talent initiatives / projects in line with business needs

Attend campus events as required

Customers / Stakeholders

HR generalist teams, key business sponsors, graduates, vendors, Centre of Expertise, Regional Graduates Team, wider learning & talent development teams

Leadership & Teamwork

Extensive liaison required with line management, HR generalist teams, T&A teams and site learning teams

Major Challenges

Will need to be able to liaise effectively with a challenging client base
Will need to be resilient and able to deal with changing priorities
Demonstrate creativity and implement new initiatives in line with business needs and budget
The programme needs to move to the next level and be connected to the overall Talent Management Framework This person will need to have the strategic and holistic view, drive to mobilise it
Run the programme with little guidance and autonomy

Role Context

Individual will need to be able to be proactive and work with minimal supervision
Will work closely with Programme manager for graduate recruitment and development
Must have strong influencing, engagement and stakeholder management skills and be able to drive through to delivery
Must be keen to engage with the Graduates and support their development
Must be able to collate and manage data effectively and efficiently and present data to aid in key decision making process


Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications & Capabilities

Proven talent development and/or talent management experience (ideally within a global financial or professional services environment)
Proven experience in running Graduates Programme would be a distinct advantage
Previous generalist experience would be a distinct advantage
Previous programme management experience
Good understanding of performance and talent management processes and frameworks
Graduate calibre
Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
A bachelor degree in HR/Psychology/Organisational Development and/or business disciplines or equivalent experience
Experience in project management and leading delivery through others
Experience of working with third party suppliers
