Origin Consultants Pvt Ltd an Executive Search Services Company has been retained by a Global Leader in Tax Advisory Service to identify Manager Corporate Tax to be based at Pune

Job Description

As a Manager Corporate Tax your responsibilities include the following

Serve as an advisor to clients, in a range of industries, on various tax issues including International Tax
Provide tax planning to a full range of corporate clients, including major multinational clients, and work closely with other offices of the company to provide those services to clients
Review tax memoranda and tax opinions
Instruct internal firm courses related to corporate taxation
Review articles and other risk management activities
Manage, direct, monitor, and deliver multiple client engagements
Help identify additional areas of service to offer the client
Maintain active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
Formulate and deliver possible tax planning and tax savings services
Assist with business development for the expansion of services at existing clients and for attracting new clients
Be involved in the management of the Corporate Tax Advisory team both in terms of strategy and operations
Work collaboratively with other practice groups within tax to bring the right services and expertise to address and resolve client issues
Manage, direct, monitor, and deliver multiple client engagements
Maintain active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
Research domestic and international tax matters and review client tax advice
Manage and direct international aspects of outsourced or co-sourced compliance and other quantitative oriented international tax engagements
Manage, supervise, and mentor other team members
Aid in the development and training of team members

Desired Candidate Profile

CA with 5 to 9 years of post qualification experience in Corporate Tax preferably from a Big 4 / Consulting firm
Excellent advisory and compliance skills
Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
Strong planning, research, and communication skills, as well as general knowledge of corporate tax compliance
