Job Description:

- Detailed analysis of the operational results of the foreign entities on a monthly basis

- Process development and re-engineering

- Preparation and analysis of statutory financial statements under local financial reporting standards

- Global regulatory monitoring and compliance including liaising with other departments to ensure appropriate and consistent data is gathered and submitted to regulatory authorities

- Coordination of statutory audits with local auditors and company personnel

- Lead technical accounting projects (ie, new accounting pronouncements)

- Assist other departments in accounting matters (ie, understanding results, assisting in departmental accounting issues)

- Lead/assist on various projects

Personal Requirements & Skills

- 6+ years accounting experience; financial services experience preferred

- Public accounting experience / CA or CPA required

- Highly proactive

- Working knowledge of monthly close process / procedures

- Experience with SOC1-based control requirements

- Understanding of consolidation processes and procedures

- Experience with foreign operations / foreign currency issues preferred

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong data analysis skills/experience
