Role - Content Writer

Function - Corporate Channel

Level - Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager

Location - Gurgaon

This role is a part of Corporate Channel Team for the product myBiz

myBiz is a corporate travel management platform from the house of MakeMyTrip The tool is helping corporates improve adherence on travel policies, speed up the approval process, reduce leakages through centralized payment options, and getting assurance on GST input credit We now have thousands of companies that have signed up from across India, and saving 15-17% on their travel budgets It is a simple, easy-to-navigate tool available on both App and Desktop

Role & Responsibilities

- Create, improve and maintain content for all myBiz touch points (online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, and print being the key ones)

- Specifically ideate and design attractive and relevant curated content for myBiz website/app and SEO, SEM, Display, Blogs and Offline channels (Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices would be helpful)

- Work closely with Business Managers to understand business objectives clearly and help build a roadmap for content, short and long term

- Liaison with internal design team (UX) and external partners/vendors/freelance writers and content agencies to ensure that content is complete, exhaustive and accurate across all company platforms (For eg details of hotels, pictures etc)

- Create and maintain myBiz social media pages (esp and FB) and work towards regular and relevant content feed

- Maintain performance data of all communications sent (impressions, clicks, shoppers, conversions, bookings etc)

- Touch base with the customers through direct interactions, surveys, feedback for more informative and insightful inputs and understanding customer motivations

- Ensure all content is consistent in terms of intent, style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of communication

- Evaluate and share best practices from industry competitors

- Comply with media law and industry guidelines

- Ensure that all content is accurate and plagiarism free

Desired Competencies

- Minimum 4 years of experience in content writing/editing

- Graduate/Post Graduate in English, Journalism, Mass Communication

- Knowledge of Google Adwords, Analytics, Keyword Planner is preferable

- Excellent writing skills with an understanding of what works in the internet industry

- Excellent communications skills with an ability to work well in a team

- Ability to write in different formats and styles of writing for multiple audiences

- Writing style that is fresh and customer-friendly
