We are looking for a Level 1 Support Officer to support our client onsite based out of Chatswood The role of the Level 1 Applications Support Consultant forms part of the Application Management Unit within the Service Delivery Corporate Programs, which is responsible for providing maintenance, support and further enhancement of the state-wide HealthRoster system and its online component Employee Online (EOL)

As a member of the business as usual (BAU) team you will be responsible for supporting HealthRoster and its user base including the testing, deployment and support of custom extensions and the integration with 3rd party systems The HealthRoster L1 Support Officer provides support by the resolving customer incidents and accurately logging the resolution or investigating and providing additional information to the next level of support The position will work within a team of support officers, analysts and applications specialists

Key Responsibilities

Providing application support across all HealthRoster business functions
Logging, monitoring and resolving support calls via state-wide service desk tool, including assessing, actioning, escalating incidents and requests as appropriate
Providing data management support to improve data quality and completeness including data analysis and reporting
Testing and validation of the solution and any introduced change
Applying and maintaining various standards and performance metrics under direction from the HealthRoster management team
Actively attend debriefing of escalated calls
Maintaining high quality customer service levels
Provide callers with accurate information and advice
This role is required to provide On Call and after hours support at time

Skills and Experience

Experience as a support officer working with enterprise systems in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent This includes experience in Test and Production Support environments
Experience with or high level working knowledge of integrated rostering or time and attendance systems
Strong customer service skills including the ability to capture and collate information from various sources, prepare reports, deal with challenging clients and achieve solutions for customers
Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to priorities competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach
Proven collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
Capacity and willingness, including current drivers licence valid in NSW, to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW, which may include overnight stay in regional/remote areas
Meeting the competing demand of production support, product enhancements and project deliverables
Maintaining current knowledge of contemporary practices, trends and developments
