The Executive Director, Global Brand will report to Lenovos Vice President, Global Marketing As a member of his leadership team, the Executive Director will join a team of creative leaders focused on moving Lenovos global brand forward in multiple markets across the world

With teams located in Morrisville, NC, Beijing, China and Bangalore, India, we are looking for a leader with global experience and diverse background to execute our brand strategy, global brand campaigns and brand governance throughout the company

This leader will work collaboratively with our Communications, Digital Marketing, Geo-based Marketing and Business Unit Marketing teams

The role of the Executive Director is to lead day-to-day management of the Lenovo brand across 160+ markets

Key Responsibilities

- Expand and evolve the existing brand strategy for Lenovo including the Vision, Mission, Audience, Personality and Experience Principles

- Produce an annual plan for the brand covering Objectives, Strategies, Tactics, Budget and KPIs

- Plan and execute a high-impact, cross-media campaign to promote Lenovo globally

- Measure both brand and campaign against key KPIs

- Lead guideline development, training and governance, ensuring employees and agencies adopt the brand identity

- Manage the global budget for all above activities

- Push the organization to continually become more customer-centric, ensuring that each decision related to the brand is rooted in a key customer insight

- Push the brand team to implement new tools and technologies (eg, AI) to drive efficiency and effectiveness

- Become a passionate advocate for the Lenovo brand internally, with customers and in the industry

- Align with senior leaders across Lenovo to ensure they advocate for the brand and campaign

- Lead a global team of 30 brand managers split across China, India and the US

- Build a positive team culture in-line with the Lenovo culture principles and continue the development of the team into a world-class brand management organization

- Unaided Brand Awareness, Consideration and Preference

- Brand Image Attributes

- Share of Search Volume

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements

- 15+ years experience in Brand Strategy and Identity development for world-class brands

- Successfully lead End-to-end creative development, production, and delivery for global campaigns

- Experience with Top tier creative agency (or agency management experience)

- Deployment of next-gen marketing technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness

- Brand measurement and KPI-setting

Preferred Requirements

- Candidates must be able to work within a fast-paced sales-oriented product environment

- Ability to work in a highly matrixed management setting with senior-level stakeholders

- Be able to lead a global team

- Candidates must be based in Beijing, China; Bangalore, India; or Morrisville, NC US Candidates must also be willing and able to travel frequently (~2-3 global trips per quarter)
