Are you a sales-driven individual who is looking for an exciting new opportunity?

The LEGO Group is building up a new team in India, and we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager with strong sales capabilities to help us lead our distributor channel (General Trade)

Core Responsibilities

Leading the General Trade business for LEGO India through our distributor/s with the following responsibilities

- Expanding and growing the sales & distribution through distributor/s in key strategic priority markets

- Ensuring assortment availability and extremely high visibility in outlets

- Managing teams for the Distributor/s, maintain motivation and contribute to building people capability

- Building and maintaining effective customer relationships - key outlets

- Negotiation and selling to the distributor and key outlets

- Sales tracking and analysis

- Participate in sales forecasting - at both country and customer level, including observing deadlines for input as well as support for other sales team members

- Cross-functional working with functions like Marketing & Operations both within India and regionally at APAC level

- The key responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager will be to lead and develop strategic customer business plans that will drive sales growth The incumbent will maintain an accurate and healthy sales forecast over a 12-month horizon that meets the demands of the customers/consumers and be proactive to changes in actual demand This will be achieved by having a holistic understanding of market trends, a solid relationship with key partner accounts and executing trade initiatives to optimize sales opportunities

- The Regional Sales Manager will get the opportunity of working in a new, small, dynamic organization - securing elite implementation of Sales/Marketing plans and campaigns and also and learn how to work with a great number of people - internally and externally

Do you have what it takes?

- MBA in Sales & Marketing or equivalent degree

- 4-5 years of relevant experience (eg consumer packaged goods) and at least 2 years of selling experience in a cross-functional environment

- Skilled in strategic selling and negotiation

- Excellent analytical skills, a passion for data metrics and the ability to turn plans into execution/achievements

- Excellent knowledge of MS office tools, especially MS Excel and MS Powerpoint

- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English

- Professional working attitude with strong drive and commitment
