Position Summary

The Lead Readiness Specialist creates and delivers highly technical training content for employees, partners, and customers in the use and implementation of Citrix products in complex situations Specifically, the Lead Readiness Specialist drives the dissemination of deep technical knowledge for one of Citrixs core product lines and how they work with related foundational technologies This is accomplished by leading virtual teams of cross-functional resources in the development of a complete set of training deliverables (ie scripts, application modules, labs, testing procedures, product installation guides, product configuration templates, presentations, and whitepapers) as part of Support Readiness projects and consulting engagements During projects, the incumbent provides technical thought leadership and manages stakeholder and executive sponsor relationships with engineering groups, customers, partners, Supportability and Technical Support to enable the team to develop specifications for technical training content May personally prepare training materials and/or training plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation May personally instruct participants via instructor-led training, laboratory simulations, virtual training methods, and/or on-site consulting engagements The Lead Readiness Specialist acts as an expert in at least one core Citrix product line and related foundational technologies and focuses on developing expertise in another core Citrix product line Their analyses of complex design considerations influence the product line and product strategies The Lead Readiness Specialist may provide day-to-day guidance tor more junior team members Their work is performed with little supervision

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

Manages company-wide enablement stakeholders and executive sponsors through effective communication of field requirements and enablement plans
Acts as liaison with Product Quality/Supportability team to identify knowledge gaps in Technical Support that are impacting business KPIs and makes recommendations for addressing these including but not limited to training interventions
Works with the core group instructional designer to plan the strategy for quarterly training deliverables
Ensures Product release training is delivered in a timely manner, as per targets set by WW Support Readiness for that particular release
Acts as a technical expert in a core Citrix product line and related foundational technologies
