Job Description:

The Implementation Manager is responsible for multiple aspects of the project including the sign-off of customer requirements and delivery deadlines, communication with key stakeholders and internal management, management of internal and external project resources and managing the project budget and schedule The ideal candidate will have extensive demonstrable Project Management experience gained in the financial industry working for a consultancy or software vendor Experience leading the implementation of a Front, Middle or Back Office Asset Management system is highly valued However, candidates with exceptional Project Management skills who have successfully led enterprise-level Capital Markets or other Financial IT projects will definitely be considered


Utilize the B-One Implementation Methodology to successfully implement our solution You will be responsible for tracking the progress of an implementation to meet deliverables and the system go-live date You will also help to refine our Implementation Methodology and Best Practices so that we continue to provide the best possible implementation services to our customers
Manage internal and external resources involved in the project This requires the ability to rally and lead a team comprised of BI-SAM professionals, customers and partners
Communicate with customers to review business, functional and technical requirements to ensure the highest quality delivery of the system implementation as well as any product enhancements
Collaborate with the Project Team to set and manage stakeholder expectations around project timelines and budget You will be responsible for managing and communicating issues to the customer and internal project teams You will also be the first level of escalation for all project issues
Organize a team with the required skills for a successful project while providing our team members with appropriate opportunities for professional growth Contributing to the development of our Professional Services team is critical as we scale to meet our firms sales growth
Scope, plan and estimate implementations to communicate internally the required Factset consultants required to support a successful project implementation

Required Skills

Minimum 7 years Project Management experience leading the implementation of enterprise-scale technical solutions Experience in the implementation of a financial system within a Bank, Hedge fund or Asset Manager is especially valuable
Project Management certification (eg, PMP, Agile, Scrum, etc) and a strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (eg, MS Project, Jira, Agile boards, etc) as well as an ability to apply the appropriate techniques to the unique circumstances of each customer
Working in systems or business analysis and system design preferably within Asset Management or Financial Services
A strong record of customer service The Implementation Manager will need to understand customer needs, manage expectations and build effective relationships in complex client environments Must be able to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in a clear, logical and concise manner They will need to also be able to influence key decision makers both internally and externally
Must be customer driven, have the ability to work within a diverse team environment, and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer
Strong organizational and presentation skills Candidate must be able to create and manage a complex project plan in an efficient and timely manner
Strong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects/workstreams in parallel
Ability to write or contribute to client Statements of Work and assist with client negotiations
Ability to manage project resource allocations and track project financials against project budget
Ability to think logically to solve complex problems
Must possess confidence and have ability to defend the software vendors view of best practices and product strategy
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, strong collaboration and team-building skills across Factset consultants, clients and clients partners
Proven ability to work in cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience required
Most work is conducted at client sites and FactSet office(s) but occasional travel is required
