WHAT YOULL DO

We are seeking a Junior Support Analyst [internally referred to as Junior Technical Delivery Analyst] to join an integral part of BCGs strategy to develop new digital client service offerings in order to deliver superior value and sustained impact The unit has responsibilities for full-life cycle of BCG proprietary data and software assets, from initial business case to roadmap delivery, launch, and ongoing support operations All of BCGs core product capabilities are housed within the business unit including product management, design, development, support and data analytics experts who work in deep collaboration with BCG practice areas, consulting teams and clients This team, of highly motivated and insightful colleagues, will provide an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment supported by a global management consulting firm, which is the worlds leading advisor on business strategy

As a Junior Support Analyst you will join the Software delivery team in the Product Delivery & Support This team focuses on supporting the deployment and maintenance of the products for our clients This is a Junior role [1-3 years of experience] that a qualified candidate will have the opportunity to learn how to deliver and support global enterprise software solutions while growing their career

Primary responsibilities include (and not limited to)

Web server setup, configuration and monitoring
Ad-hoc database queries to review, edit and delete data in SQL
Understand the product/s to effectively troubleshoot incidents
Sanitize data using available tools and prepare it for configuration utilizing SQL and/or Excel, Alteryx is a plus
Write custom SQL queries in the database with the purpose of meeting client requirements
Work in close collaboration with our global Solution Delivery, Development, Reports Analytics and Data, Database and Security teams
Document, track, and monitor bugs, problems, issues & solutions to ensure timely resolution utilizing confluence and other propietary tools
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and work with Sr Analyst or Lead to get them implemented

YOURE GOOD AT

Technical skills

Entry level experience with Web server configurations (eg IIS)
Entry level experience using MS SQL server
Working experience with SQL programming specifically with writing queries, debugging, etc
Experience with utilizing Excel for data cleaning, reviewing reports etc
Basic Excel VBA experience preferred
Experience working in an AWS environment
Basic knowledge and understanding of Tableau, HighCharts and Powershell scripting

Non-technical skills Experience with client support with a firm understanding of delivering timely solutions and responses based on customers needs
Detail and processed oriented individuals that can learn and execute BCGs procedures
Ability to work in a global organization with a heavily matrixed environment
Quick learner and a zeal for learning new tools/technologies

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

1-3 years of total experience preferably working in a Level 2 support role or similar function in a technical/solution driven environment
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer science, or related experience
Previous experience working in application support team/s
Previous experience working in client delivery roles preferred
Previous experience working with global stakeholders/teams preferred
