Job Title Junior Analyst

Location Mysore, India

Years of Experience 0-2 years

Education Any graduate in business administration or equivalent; in lieu of the degree, equivalent experience would be considered

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • This role requires collaborating with the businesss functional areas, including sales, customer support, marketing and gathering data and communicating requirements or meeting expectations while assisting with decision support, along with analyzing the market and industry reports and data

  • Reviewing research and secondary documents to deliver presentations

  • Reviewing documents and collaborating information for the business

  • The personnel need to remain vigilant about gathering information on economics, as well as information about profiles and the fundamentals

  • The candidate will need to read a lot for their research and must be updated on publications

  • Should be strong with MS office applications specifically with spreadsheets, statistical and graphics packages in order to develop recommendations for senior management and develop detailed presentations and reports

1Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint

  • Exceptional desktop research skills

  • Strong writing and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of research concepts (Eg SWOT Analysis, Porters 5 Forces Model, PESTEL Analysis)

  • Knowledge of referencing styles and styles of writing

Technical skills

  • Person should be familiar with MS Office tools/Data base and other applicable software

  • Ability to educate/ train the team members as needed

  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of Pharmacovigilance process and SOP s including internal and external training

  • Maintaining Pharmacovigilance systems including global safety database

Other Skills

  • The ability to contribute to a team environment with a high degree of professionalism and skill

  • Demonstrated flexibility within a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional team

  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to perform under stringent timelines


  • Awareness of organizational policies & procedures governing his/her job responsibilities

  • Awareness and compliance of QMS & ISMS policies & procedures and their impact at his/her job level

  • Should understand escalation matrix and escalate to the next level whenever incidents happen which are not in compliance with organizational, QMS & ISMS policies and procedures

Working Conditions Normal office environment


  • Standard Hours 40 hours per week, one-hour lunch, Monday Friday

  • Additional hours as needed

  • Willing to work in shifts as and when needed
