Java Senior Developer (Java Spring MongoDB) - ( 190001C2 )

Description

The Java developer is responsible for dveloping data applications and data services He/She will be performing the following tasks as part of job responsibilities

Interpret business requirements and technical specifications
Confer with system analysts, managers, technical architecture personnel and internal clients
Develop and maintain Data applications that provide various data services
Responsible for auditing processes and error handling
Develop project documentation
Interact with the Quality Assurance team during integration and user acceptance testing
Responsible for code migrations between environments and providing operational instructions for deployments
Transfer knowledge to support team with required documentation
Coordinate with external teams to assure the quality of data and conduct integration testing

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Five or more years programming experience in Java JDK versions 8
One or more years JMS ,RabbitMQ, or similar messaging framework
Experience with Relational Database Systems, Oracle, SQL and JDBC
Performance Tuning of SQL scripts
Must be able to demonstrate experience working with core business logic within applications
Experience with concurrent programming in Java
Experience with the Spring Framework
Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch
Experience in programming for Web services and APIs
Experience with Object Oriented Development concepts
Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
Experience with Cloud Application Platforms like Cloud Foundry preferred
3- 5 years of development experience in writing applications using spring boot, spring batch, REST API services
1-2 years Knowledge of MongoDB NoSQL needed
Knowledge of PCF desired
Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Jenkins
Programing experience in scripting languages like Perl or Python preferred
Programing experience in javascript preferred
Willingnes to support a Production system
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt quickly to change with a variety of people and work styles
Ability to work well in a team
Exceptionally self-motivated and self-directed Keen attention to detail, understand the need for consistent process and when to deviate
Must be capable of fully yet concisely articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
