The AstraZeneca IT function has undergone significant IT transformation to improve performance and perception of IT and is now focusing on delivering a fantastic customer experience and overall service perfection AstraZeneca End User Services function is committed to deliver excellent customer service and really focus on the customer experience to ensure our IT services meet current and future business needs The function is truly global in scale with resources in Asia, US, Sweden and the UK

The purpose of the Customer Effectiveness Team is to ensure our workforce is as effective as possible in the use of IT We focus on ensuring new global systems are introduced effectively, training and education is delivered to the functions in the right way and meaningful to how people work, and that we promote our resources, so our Workforce can use the right IT capabilities Its key that we drive customer experience and promote improvements, so our IT tools and services meet current and future needs of the business

Key accountabilities You will be contributing to the maintenance and transformation of the team into an extraordinary training capability that intensifies the customer effectiveness and champions the best usage of IT Services (core client applications/software) as well as IT Self-service capabilities
You will partner with Training Managers in relation to their functional alignment to a key business group, primarily a close customer group to work together with the developing effective training that is business specific
Youll possess specialist knowledge in the DMPK area and is seen as a source of reference Recognised as an expert in own field providing solutions that are highly innovative to tasks on difficult drug projects and unusually scientific complex problem You may lead projects, be responsible for training and developing others Contributes to business development and will influence strategic direction
You will also be working with the Business Engagement Team member on training and education requirements and opportunities for a site or function
You will support other Trainers in your time zone, region or country on shared initiatives and requirements
While you will have a specific site base, any other sites supported will also be visited frequently
You will utilise your creativity to design and conduct training programs, media, courses and delivery (enterprise or locally defined) will be a main responsibility
You will also drive the introduction of new tools or applications where education or tips are required for effective use
You will lead and/or support customer facing IT initiatives at key sites will also be an expectation
You will drive all training queries for a site or function and will lead all training needs analysis as well
Some travel between local sites is expected

Focus & Challenge You will support key IT Enterprise Programs by supporting development of training plans, media, materials, courses and delivery
You will facilitate training from Introduction to Advanced level on standard applications that are part of the AZ/MedI core client, eg MS Office 2013-2016, Windows 10 As required, other specific applications, tools and devices dependent on business deployment, size and complexity
You will become a Subject Matter Expert in a specific topic/area, shared among the team to advanced level for specific applications eg SharePoint, Skype etc
You will deliver and develop training using all approved media eg Classroom, Virtual, 121, eLearning, Video, Reference Guides and Tip Sheets, evaluation and utilization of external training content for AZ reuse where appropriate
AZ IT Self Service portal is the one place to go for all training materials and access to Training Courses You are responsible for ensuring that information exposed to the customer is always both accurate and up-to-date, this will involve regular reviews and liaison with Service Owners

Local or Functional activities Works closely with other members of the IT Training Team in region and globally
Proactively delivers functional alignment initiatives and training programmes customized according to business needs and use cases
Analyses and identifies the training and development needs of the specific site(s) or function, developing training programs and implementing training delivery
Delivers training within specified site, function for role utilizing a variety of training media
Provision of 1-2-1 specialized training and support where requested, mentoring customers at their workplace on specific tasks or activities
Support LearnIT sub-service at local AskIT implementation with regular activities and visits
When required travels to other local sites within specific responsibility to ensure those customers have access to the full training program available
Support local IT Events, on request, from a Training perspective eg IT Roadshows
Will form part of the Campus IT Center and liaise with local Campus IT Manager to develop and implement training with succession plans that are appropriate for their local business needs, but consistent with the organizations overall training strategy
Develops and nurtures ongoing relationships with key customer groups at location or function
Handle your course schedule working with the Global Training Advisor to ensure the calendar of events is up-to-date and relevant for your location/sites
Training materials translated into Spanish and Portuguese where required (specific to LATAM-based roles only)
