About the Portfolio Planning Business Analyst Intern Position
The Portfolio Planning group is responsible for ensuring that Global IT has a clear set of priorities for delivering value to the enterprise and sets clear direction for unimpeded flow of work to the agile teams with our organization We partner with Global IT leadership across all services and products within our scope and work to ensure alignment across initiatives We operate under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and are still in the early stages of implementing the Portfolio level of the model which allows for the holistic planning across the organization Our team is instrumental in helping to transform the organization

As a member of the Portfolio Planning group, this role will support our Portfolio efforts and either be aligned with a specific strategic theme or series of epics (large work) OR help with the overall process and data evolution to the best enable the new model This will all be done under the mentorship of the Veteran Coach The work will expand to several areas and may include any of the following activities

MUST BE US Veteran transitioning from active service

Analyzing work to be transitioned to the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology
Creating and updating presentations for management
Working with cross functional teams to ensure workflow from Theme to Epic to Feature for delivery
Consolidating reporting from various sources of information and helping to define an end-state reporting presence for Portfolio level work
Assisting portfolio planners in facilitating cross functional workshops and meetings
Evolving our current Service based collateral into our new SAFe collateral
Leaning and participating in Communities of Practice to help optimize our SAFe implementation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Able to work independently, within defined set of goals and objectives, and in a team environment
Experience that demonstrates the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts and deliver results
Attention to detail
Organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desire to learn and adapt to change in a dynamic environment

Preferred Education and Experience
BA/BS or equivalent life experience and exposure to one or more of these subject areas Networks and/ or Infrastructure, Organizational Planning, Business Analysis, Business Analytics, Program or Project Management, Communications or related subject areas

Additional Information

Hourly wage is $25 per hour This is a 40 hour per week position
