Opportunity

The Commercial Sales Intern will work directly with sales leadership This position will work on a variety of sales and marketing tasks in support of Sungard AS outreach programs The Intern will assist the Business Development team with market research and ensuring the satisfaction of our customers This position is a temporary assignment Hours are flexible

Responsibilities

Assist and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems data cleansing
Pull customer/company lists for data cleansing in support of outreach programs across North America
Conduct market research of companies and customer data by pulling information from the DiscoverOrg software program
Build email templates to send information to prospective clients
Design sales presentations for delivery to the Business Development team
Qualify prospective customer calls for sales leads
Call current customers to inquire about their satisfaction with their Sungard AS services
Lead a weekly sales team meeting
Present on relevant industry topics during weekly team meetings
Engage in weekly meetings with Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Business Development Representatives to discuss the Sungard AS value propositions and industry topics
Create and deliver a role play scenario to the Commercial Sales/Business Development Leadership team
Participate in various projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Companys values

Requirements

December 2019/2020 degree graduates in Business or Marketing
Proficient in the Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Self-motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an aptitude for communicating effectively across multiple geographies
Must be able to learn quickly in a highly technical environment
Desire to work in a global workplace
