Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is responsible for implementing and supporting the application solutions that allow Oracle to run its business OAL Systems Integration group utilizes the latest Oracle technologies to develop cutting edge integrations and data migration solutions associated with the rollout of new products and business processes In addition, OAL are responsible for the integration of companies acquired through our Mergers & Acquisition program We incorporate Oracles latest generation of applications, projects include; migrating data into Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, Supply Chain Management, Sales), replicating data and building custom solutions on PaaS

As part of the OAL Systems Integration group, you will work closely and collaboratively with cross functional OAL teams and a variety of business teams such as Global Sales M&A team, Product Release Group and Global Customer Data Strategy & Operations Your relationship with team counterparts are crucial in understanding fast evolving system and functional requirements, so that delivering integrations can be done swiftly and accurately Requirements are often complex and unique, we cant just use the standard import program or Web Services, and often we have to build our own scalable solutions for data validation and transformation, to load high volumes of data successfully into Oracle Cloud Applications Your work has the potential to shape a new Oracle product and help a vast multitude of users for their Oracle Cloud implementation

As the Data Migration Technical Lead, you will lead complex, data migration projects which include multiple functional areas, leveraging your technical and project management expertise You will engage with a wide range of software and middleware technologies to build solutions on our platform across SaaS, PaaS and on-premise systems We are looking for a creative and flexible person who can understand new business models and translate them into system requirements quickly This position requires balanced knowledge of business process and technical expertise to develop the migration strategy and project timeline including, but not limited to customers, products, contracts and subscriptions area and execute the project from initiation to completion by working with global team of developers

Minimum qualifications

Excellent communication and persuasive skills
Experience with enterprise data migration or integration projects
Experience in program management with global, cross-functional teams
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field or 10 years of practical experience in IT or Consulting
Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Performance Tuning and PL/SQL

Preferred/desirable qualifications

Ability to identify technical dependencies and roadblocks and work with cross functional teams to resolve them
Strong analysis and design skills including translating requirements into solutions
Experience/understanding of web services
Experience with public cloud platforms, Oracle Cloud Applications is a plus
Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins and GIT
Hands on experience in Java, JavaScript, Shell script would be useful

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work with Oracles world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracles global infrastructure

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs Develop conversion and system implementation plans Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems
