State Streets Information Technology (IT) Operations Lifecycle team is looking for a seasoned professional to join our team The role will Coordinate and Manage Large-Scale Corporate Initiatives in support of the Global IT Lifecycle Program The Global IT Lifecycle team identifies, tracks and reports lifecycle risk across all IT platforms The team also provides governance and oversight for IT Lifecycle The successful candidate must be a proven self-starter, able to exercise independent thinking, be able to successfully juggle multiple initiatives and priorities, be comfortable with aggressive deliverable timelines, working in a fast paced environment and working up, down and across the organization

Provide leadership to and oversight of Information Technology Lifecycle Management capabilities being implemented across technology, ensuring inherent risk is adequately assessed, appropriate control investment decisions are made, and remediation governance are aligned to the firms strategic objectives
Provide expertise and leadership to drive innovation in the Information Technology Lifecycle organization spanning asset acquisition to retirement
Understand and manage Information Technology Lifecycle challenges and opportunities in a global Financial Services enterprise Drive improvement opportunities and incorporate into the Information Technology Lifecycle strategy
Drive organizational focus, facilitate discussion to address conflicting points of view, and drive decision making on implementation of sound IT principles, controls and practices that facilitate the Information Technology Lifecycle Program objectives
Assure corporate policy compliance and key control adherence through collaboration of key stakeholders
Drive awareness of the Information Technology Lifecycle Program
Actively demonstrate thought leadership by proposing and implementing new services and competencies
Work with line of business unit and corporate function leaders to establish a quality culture and operating capability to meet or exceed Information Technology Lifecycle Program expectations
Actively monitor emerging Information Technology Lifecycle inputs, Develop strategies and action plans to remediation
Establish effective controls for processes and functions performed by team
Support periodic reviews by Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management and IT Risk Respond to findings with comprehensive remediation plans and execute those plans within the agreed to timelines
Work with Program Stakeholders, continuously evolve program requirements to proactively respond to changing hardware and software standards
Provide updates to interested governance committees, as requested
Identify gaps within the program, team capabilities, system limitations, processes, etc

Skills / Experience

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field; Masters degree a plus
10 years of Information Technology management experience with 5 years in a leadership and people management role Additional IT audit, compliance, financial services experience a plus
Proven ability to establish and implement governance strategy in a large global organization
Exceptional problem solving abilities
Proven ability to drive change through collaboration and influence
Ability to drive multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously
Ability to solve complex problems independently and collaboratively
Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Ability to comfortably interact & communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to provide thought leadership in Information Technology Lifecycle Management and maintain evolving expertise and control best practices
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative global environment
Strong understanding of enterprise technology management concepts, principles and practices
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and consensus building skills are required
Prior experience in internal audit, risk management or independent data validation roles is a plus
Excellent presentation skills including to Executive audiences
