Position Description

Morgan Stanley is looking for an Integrator, to join the high-profile Trading Risk Controls (TRC) group As an Integrator, you will be responsible for coordinating/deploying new and upgraded components, troubleshooting, interfacing with risk users/managers and trading systems owners, designing new trading risk control functionality and writing scripts for automation / efficiency improvements using perl / python / shell The candidate should possess strong collaborative and team-oriented skills and be effective in a fast-paced global environment

TRC consists of standalone and embedded components in all of E-Trading systems across Equities and Fixed Income, and must handle high-throughput, low-latency, real-time order flow of stocks, options, futures, ETFs and fixed income products like FX, Bonds, Rates and Commodities The core infrastructure utilizes C and Java on Linux and C# on Windows, with additional technologies being adopted as the platform is being transformed to leverage best-in-class technology stack

Qualifications

Skills Required

- strong UNIX / Linux skills (minimum 5 years), the majority of the system runs on Linux
- scripting (Perl, Python, Shell, etc)
- Database (SQL, DB design, etc)
- SDLC
- strong interpersonal skills - interacts well within the team and across other teams, and with users
- fast learner, ability to think on your feet

Knowledge of French and English is required
