The Innovation Specialist researches and evaluates technology trends and translates them into business benefits for Vodafone Shared Services The main focus will be to research (industry reports and Vendor meets), evaluate (technical evaluation), test (PoC, Pilot or PoT) and build implementation guidelines / frameworks for Shared Services and telecom services centric technologies

The Solution Design Specialist plays the roles of the governance on all deployments with VSS remit This covers Process definition review, Solution design review & sign-off and code development review as per best practices The role requires the candidate to be an expert in Robotics and Automation technologies especially UiPath

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business

Analyse business requirements and translate them into technology solutions for Robotics & Automation projects
Responsible with designing and development of new Robotics & Automation technology scripts into prototypes
Own the automation solution design (developed automation script), evaluating the automation potential of a business process, the solution complexity as well as the efforts required to develop the automation scripts, supporting as a subject matter expert the implementing of new technologies in full scale operations
Responsible with ensuring to define and incorporate the Robotics Technology Implementation Guidelines in the developed script for each business process in scope
Defining, operating and auditing the user access management in the Robotics Process Automation environment
Provide technical expertise to VSS-internal and external stakeholders, acting as an escalation path

Proven capability to define, direct and implement best of breed architecture concepts for different technologies
Strong technical or engineering background
Strong knowhow of the latest technologies, trends, standards and products in the field of Robotics and Automation
Development experience with automation tools (eg UiPath and BluePrism) and basic programming skills
Experience in business requirements analysis and product development
Tools experience in UiPath is a significant plus or any other RPA tool
Experience in Redwood, Watson Chat solutions or OCR a plus
