Job Summary

The Compressed Technologies and Services Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an opportunity for an experienced Sales & Service Operations Analyst which will focus on the disciplines of the sales operations portfolio sales infrastructure, sales process, activity reporting and tracking, forecasting and pipeline management and service operations portfolio field service management standard work and processes as enabled by the FSM application (Siebel), enable migration to new FSM application, reporting and analytical tools

Responsibilities The successful candidate for this position will work with

- The Sales Excellence team to implement efficient business solutions using the SalesForcecom platform

- The Service Operations COE to implement standard work and processes using the Siebel and Next Gen FSM platform

This role will be responsible for working with various business partners to drive process simplification, requirements gathering, prioritization, functional design, administration and testing activities This role will work with the Ingersoll Rand Compressed Air business to support implementation of business initiatives on the Salesforcecom, Siebel and Next Gen FSM platform

This position will work collaboratively with all stakeholders Sales Leadership, Finance, Marketing, Enterprise Services, Service Leadership and Territory Service Leaders

Qualifications & Responsibilities The Sales & Service Operations Analyst will be primarily responsible for

- Driving business transformation and champion change for the sales force and service teams to work on a central enterprise platform

- Defining and tracking success metrics through reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity

- Ensuring project activities are executed in accordance with defined business processes and methodology

- Communicating a schedule for future application release / enhancements

- Working with various product teams to drive requirements definition, prioritization and release planning activities for initiatives on the Salesforcecom, Siebel and Next Gen FSM platform

- Having a sales-driven mentality with proven experience and strong understanding how a well-developed sales operations portfolio can drive sales performance

- Partnering with a global user base, understand their needs, analyze and prioritize them and translate them into specifications for enhancements to Salesforcecom / Siebel / Next Gen FSM

- Driving change management in the field and ensuring adherence to standard work and processes

- Providing periodic status updates to stakeholders on current progress, issues and risks

- Coordinating with various internal and external teams in a matrixed setup to ensure completion of relevant release tasks

- Performing changes to configuration, workflows, page layouts, fields, custom objects, etc

- Providing individual or group training for internal employees

- Partnering with business users to define, document, and clarify business processes and requirements, and make recommendations for improvement

Key Competencies

Formal Education Requirement

- BE/ BTech Degree is Required

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary

- 10 years of experience in compiling, analyzing, visualizing data for decision support purposes

- Should have strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills

- Must be achievement-oriented and willing to put forth a high level of effort to produce results in a fast-paced team environment

- Must be comfortable working in an environment that is dynamic and evolving

- Passion for process improvement, Lean or Six sigma exposure is a plus

- Have a strong attention to detail

- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills Must have ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals

- Have an exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to deliver reliable insights to business leaders

- Possess a keen understanding of the entire value chain, from lead qualification to revenue

- Salesforcecom certifications are a plus

- Alteryx / Tableau knowledge is a plus

- Siebel knowledge a plus

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, SQL (ie, pivot tables, macros, charts, creating queries, and downloading data from existing queries) Macro and VBA development a plus

- Preferred experience with Tableau (or equivalent data visualization tool (Oracle BI, Microsoft BI)

- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP databases is a plus

- English language proficiency required
