Job Description:

Role Overview

- IndiaLends is a credit underwriting and analytics platform for lending Available on both the web and mobile, we use proprietary algorithms to connect borrowers with the best financial institutions that match their credit profiles Every unique product offering to our customers needs to be managed and run as a business line

- The incumbent will be a seasoned - salesman responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future for a particular business line/category They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the companys vision and culture The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our companys activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success

Key Responsibilities

- ACHIEVE sales targets in line with Org plans

- Develop and implement all plans and strategies for developing business to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base

- Ensure that the business line has adequate and suitable resources to meet its targets (eg people, processes, technology tools etc)

- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

- Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

- Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness

- Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/lenders externally and internally

- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

Preferred Candidate Profile


- Overall - 5+ yrs in Operations/Business Management/Sales

- Qualitative Experience

- 3-5 years experience of managing a Tele-Sales team

- Exposure to e-commerce/aggregator based sales models(good to have)

- Exposure to Banking/Unsecured Lending (good to have)

Key Competencies/Skills/Experiences

- Excellent communication - written and verbal

- Analytical approach to problem-solving

- Strong people leadership

- Influencing skills

- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
