This position supports Human Resources activities by providing administrative support, including staffing, data management, HRIS administration and general administrative support of labor relations and functions


Provide administrative and employee relations support for associates, including bumping/job bid process
Manage >700 employee files, ensuring accuracy of active/terminated files and contents
Help to plan and execute various recognition and engagement activities
Prepares and processes new hire, misc change & separation paperwork / exit interview process
Manage contractor requisition and placement process for up to 150 hourly manufacturing contractors per year
Lead administration of job bid and cross training process per the Collective Bargaining Agreement
Provide administrative and employee relations support for hourly associates
Manage and execute process for interview schedules and the overall process for candidate care
Manages coordination of background checks, invoicing, ordering of supplies, etc
Ensure accurate and timely entry of all new hires, status change, and transfers in HRIS for assigned population and forward appropriate paperwork to payroll for timely processing Run standard and ad hoc HRIS reports in support of HR data management
Provide general administrative support for assigned population, including employment verification, organization charts, and unemployment claim administration
Triage basic employee relations issues for assigned population, referring more complex issues to other HR professionals in a timely manner
Management and tracking of discipline forms conducted by operations supervision
Field phone calls and in-person visits to HR department
Misc clerical support to HR team including mail distribution, office supplies
Manage MyFortive, Share Point, ADP, and all bulletin boards for the Gilbarco Operations Human Resources Team


Accurate and timely reporting of employee information to federal, state and corporate offices
Timely execution of employee moves
Maintains accurate record keeping and system data accuracy for audits
Employee feedback



Minimum High School diploma, Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
Minimum 3 years human resources administration experience in a large organization preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Experience in benefits administration preferred
Experience in Manufacturing Environment preferred


Self-starter ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle several concurrent projects
Interpersonal Skills ability to work with all levels of the organization
Detail oriented
