About the opportunity

Reporting to the HR Manager Australia and New Zealand, the HR Partner delivers HR consulting services to a matrix business, coaching managers to successfully bring out the best of their teams and people In this true generalist role and as part of the NZ leadership team, you will have the opportunity to provide support across a full range of HR activities including local and global projects in areas such as Inclusion & Diversity, Employment Relations, Compensation & Benefits, On-boarding, Policy/Procedure and internal mobility as well as Learning and Talent Management initiatives

This position is a permanent position based in our Auckland office, overseeing Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton offices You will be joining a well-established and high performing HR team, where collaboration and operating as one team across ANZ team is highly valued There are opportunities to participate and lead projects across Australia and New Zealand, as well as APAC that form part of driving a stronger integrated business

About you

To be successful in this role youll have demonstrated experience, ideally gained within a consultancy environment, delivering employee relations and strategic project leadership to a results focused management team Your approach to collaboration and coaching includes develop others to better prepare them in leadership, build relationships at a senior level positioning yourself as a trusted and credible subject matter expert/advisor We value execution on time and deliver what you say youll execute

Key selection criteria include

High level of skill in the areas of planning and organising, problem solving and decision making and initiative
Sound knowledge of ER/IR landscape and ability to coach managers
Demonstrated background driving a high performing culture with exposure to organisation development and employee engagement
Previous experience working in a business going through transformation Desire or some experience in Team management/supervision (this role has one direct report)
