In the UK&I the Pointnext business is a multi-million dollar organisation supporting 1000s of enterprises clients This role is a senior position in the Pointnext business and one which requires a combination of skills across sales, pipeline generation and solution development

The A&PS consultant is a strategic advisor role able to understand, advise and propose holistic solutions to meet our clients priorities for their digital transformation journey

Role Definition

Client Focused Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions to address opportunities and challenges across our customer base
Establish trusted advisor status within our clients to guide senior business and IT executives through technology transformation/change agendas
Demonstrate strategic behaviors by bringing architecture, systems, operations, policies and people/culture together to form solutions aligned to our clients business goals
Be relevant with the customer and maintain pace with the industry in which the client operates ie think about the challenge/opportunities facing that particular market
Develop a strategic vision, roadmap and business value framework with the client which leads to programmes or discrete projects work for HPE
Manage senior stakeholders and align business & IT strategies to provide business value

HPE Focused Develop and shape opportunities across industries verticals bringing together the best of breed solutions from advisory and professional services, operational support and consumption based services
Work in partnership with the HPE Pointnext sales and the HPE account teams to bridge across the practice areas and provide a single contact point
Identify and create new Pointnext services/offerings to ensure we remain relevant within the industry

Principal Responsibilities

Engage with account managers and sales professionals to build rapport with clients and a clear understanding of their business strategy and requirements
Develop compelling proposals to differentiate and highlight the value of HPE services and solutions that meet client business outcomes
Lead and engage activity to shape the deal and present a winning solution to the client
Engage in strategic deals to qualify, assess and build strong relationships
Provide coaching, guidance and leadership to colleagues/internal teams
Establish HPE as a trusted advisor across all areas of digital transformations/solutions

Experience

You should have a minimum of ten years experience working in a services environment You will have previously held senior consultative/advisor roles, building strong client relationships, internal and external credibility and a broad understanding of the IT services market You will be comfortable with working in a dynamic sales environment, dealing with a wide variety of individuals within HPE and with customer contacts at all levels up to CIO Working location can vary day-by-day based on customer location and typically will be UK-wide

Skills

Driving technical transformations / transition of business process and technology
Understanding of Service Management (ITIL)
Technical leadership of large change programmes / transformations
Application awareness and service portfolio transition
Building business cases (TCO, ROI etc)
Strong commercial acumen
Systems and enterprise architecture change (TOGAF, ITSA, knowledge)
Changing business and IT operating models to support new ways of working
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable presenting to large and senior audiences
Professional grade facilitation of customer workshops and meetings
Able to strike a rapport quickly at all levels (including CxO)
Able to articulate business case for change
Articulate complex technical change in a simple business terms
