Job Purpose

This role is responsible for leading and directing the end-to-end creation, delivery and process for Hills always on digital and ecommerce content, focusing on retailercom, Hills websites The Online Creative Specialist is a central part of the OAC content creation including product and category descriptions, informative pieces on the website, newsletter, banners, campaign content Your role is to direct the creation of the right, high quality digital content on the right platform with the right message and the right time, partnering with Brand team, agency and freelancers to drive ongoing engagement with pet owners and allow us to quickly do and learn

As responsible for all written and graphical online content delivery end-to-end, youll become the specialist colleague in which countries go to with their content enquiries You will be adept at managing relationships with stakeholders, content contributors, and delivery teams You will comprehend the importance of content in digital, and always be looking for ways to make iterative improvements You will grow to become an integral member of multidisciplinary teams, working closely with brand teams, agencies, other OAC roles Keeping the client and consumer in mind combined with excellent proficiency in English and a deep understanding of the target group, you know how to create consumer centric content that contributes to the optimization of conversion

Main Responsibilities

Translate brand, commercial and communication objectives to specific content deliverables for consumer marketing and e Commerce platforms
Creating, configuring & uploading content to Hills platforms requiring basic skills (eg, html) and using consumer-driven best-practices in tagging, SEO optimization, keyword analysis, hyperlinking, etc
Managing the EU eCommerce assets by partnering with the agency (NPD) and freelancers (Base Business) for the creation and constant optimization of SEO/REO content for Hills websites, e-tailers websites
Advising team members on simple conversion enhancing methods to improve initial content, ideas, and campaign effectiveness
Define and safeguard best practice content creation, management standards and processes, and provide guidance and capability building for teams
Liaise with eMarketing lead and Search & Engagement manager to continuously identify improvements for content management processes, tools & search to drive SEO (leveraging Key Words provided by Wavemaker)

Digitally savvy and curious, understands the dynamics of eCommerce & the target consumer and needs
Independent, professional and creative with an eye for design
Excellent communicative skills, proficient in the English language Additional languages are certainly a plus
Agile mindset, able & willing to constantly adapt to changing realities

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree, eg in Marketing, Advertising or creative field
3-5 years experience in CPG or at agency in creative role is an advantage
1- 2 years of working experience with managing and creating content (retailer display ads, website, Facebook, YouTube, copy for eCommerce posts)
Experience with A/B tests, using analytics data, user feedback, and user research to define or refine content so that it best meets user needs
Experience in UX optimization and or design an advantage
Experience with (various) content management systems
(Basic) knowledge of coding HTML & Adobe Photoshop is preferred
