RESPONSIBILITIES

The Head of Strategy & Change for Plan to Perform is responsible for developing the strategy, plan and execution approach to deliver target state organisation, processes and services across the function Partnering with the Global Process Owner and Finance leadership to drive strategic outcomes, enabling delivery of world class team, processes systems and relationships

This role requires the ability to successfully lead thought and teams across the organisation in a wide range of topics, including

Process Strategy

Play a lead role in forming and then execute a Strategy and action plan to identify, migrate, standardise and automate P2P activity across the Group

Build an execution plan with the Target Operating Model team (F-TOM) to deliver standardisation and transition book of work

Help drive the development if future state infrastructure and systems plans aligned with Finances Target Operating Model and technology transformation agenda

Develop an effective organisation structure which finds the right balance between process standardisation and specialist business / functions advisory capability

As a senior leader within the Global Financial Services organisation, actively contribute to the development of the broader strategic agenda of the GFS

Finance Target Operating Model

Develop and execute the target organisation design covering onshore and offshore locations

Engage CFOs and finance leadership in landing their Target Operating Model into their countries and within the GFS Partner with the organisation design team to scope and execute transitions into GFS

Design and deliver comprehensive standard service offerings that will support performance management requirements for the businesses

Develop and Deliver Service Tier based operating model for all service offerings

Partner with the F-TOM team in delivering the structure and operating model for tiered services

Develop a location strategy with the F-TOM team that best delivers the requirements for effective and efficient delivery of world class performance management outcomes and process

Partner with the GPM Plan to Perform and GFS leadership to deliver a robust strategy to invest and grow talent/people across the GFS to enable delivery of target operating model requirements

Partner with GPM P2P to right skill teams in GFS to support build of niche skills and value enabling services

Establish a CFO recognised quality assessment framework to continuously provide a meaningful understanding of the cost benefit resulting from the TOM delivery

Landing ASPIRE

Partner with GPM P2P to deliver the new SAP related processes into GFS

Define the MI governance, reporting strategy and execution through the delivery of systems and toolsets from ASPIRE

Partner with Group FP&A to embed the new financial performance management outcomes within P2P processes

Enable the build of a scalable Digital MI utility in GFS that will leverage the delivery of data and toolsets through ASPIRE

Partner with the ASPIRE data delivery team to design and embed a robust governance on reporting hierarchies, metrics and KPIs

Develop a robust change governance model to align with ASPIRE systems change governance

People

Establish a trusted advisor relationship with Finance Management and key CFOs

Champion the people development agenda within P2P in the GFS

Develop a sustainable talent management approach for P2P within the GFS which attracts and retains top talent

As a GFS senior leader, and a member of the GFS Management Team, actively contribute to the strategic development of the GFS and support driving GFS collective agenda

Governance

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Groups Values and Code of Conduct

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct

Ensure Standard Governance Process across various verticals in line with GPO strategy

Monitoring of Financials for GPO and ensuring the actual are in line with Budgets/Forecasts

Provide decision support and recommendations for various key initiatives that cut across the Business Unit (Plan to Perform, Management and Cost Reporting)
