Head of Financial Systems Support (FSS)

Responsibilities

The Head of Financial Systems Support (FSS ) is supporting Global Accounting Operations (GAO) and other Finance teams, ensuring finance applications are properly maintained and available as defined in the agreed service level agreement This role will require extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS

He/She works with IT and AMS to run a best-in-class Financial Systems environment

Strategic partner with Financial Planning and Analyst (FP&A), Technology and Financial Risk Infrastructure Business Solutions Team (FRIBS) to align IT strategy with broader GAO multi-year objectives

The FSS team is supporting M&A activity, restructurings and tax initiatives

Lead the Financial Data Governance Council (FDGC) and liaison with EDGM (MDM) Committee to establish sustainable review and approval process for cross company updates to data structures/hierarchies

Support GAO data integration strategy, identifying financial data repositories, defining data elements and longer term implementing solution architecture to align/map data into single enterprise wide warehouse

Leverage global resources to ensure continuous process improvement and optimal support model for accounting month-end/quarter-end close

The role includes responsibility for the FSS teams in Coimbatore and other locations in India

Skills

Extensive knowledge of Oracle EBS

Extensive knowledge of Oracle HPL/HPCM

Knowledge of Business process and technology of EBSO in delivering RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Customizations and Extensions)

Manager with 10 years of leadership experience

Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or related degree

Senior Executive with a strong mix of finance and technical experience and the ability to influence at all levels

Strong written and oral communication skills to motivate, to build consensus and to influence staff

Solution oriented and result-driven with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to think both strategically and

pragmatically

Strong motivational leader with the ability to build cross-functional teams and develop individual talents to promote the bigger picture
