Head of Credit Initiation - 19027760


Lead the Quality Assurance (QA) team, execution of QA process to review & assess the adherence & compliance

of Credit Initiation, Collections BAU activities with the existing credit risk policy, processes & regulations Publish

periodic QA/QAF reports to highlight the outcomes of assessment Work closely with the process owners to ensure

controls are reviewed per required, appropriate root cause analysis done for detected issues/control breaks,

remediation, corrective & preventive actions plans are implemented

Represent as required, the Credit Operations in various governance committees & coordinator roles In-charge of

In-Business Risk & Controls (IBRC) role for Credit Operations which including controls in GRC/MCA & ARA, RCM

Regulatory change review & gap-analysis, ICAPs Validation, TPM Risk Management, IA review, local SBV

inspections review, Risk Operating Committee & Management Reports, Expense Management, Business Strategy

& Expense Planning, ad-hoc reviews, and supporting for Credit Initiation, Collections, Fraud Management

Support Credit Ops Head to maintain a robust risk & control framework across Credit Ops that enables effective

risk & control identification/mitigation/monitoring/escalation; highlight gap/shortfall or actual/potential breaches in

adherence of process/policy Support business functions on gap analysis and implementation of regulatory

compliance, global policy requirements or regional standards

Demonstrate a sound knowledge of relevant Citibank policies, processes, products and systems


Professional Experience Preferred minimum experience of 6 years in Credit Operations, Underwriting, Credit Controls or Internal Audit, Risk Management, Control Management-related role gained in a retail bank, other retail financial institution


Minimum Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional qualification

Skills and Competencies

Subject matter expertise in consumer credit, risk and controls Reasonable knowledge of credit policies & processes, local regulatory framework, KYC, AML regulatory requirements

Attention and thoroughness to details and possesses risk-based thinking and analytical mindset

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within tight and changeable timeframe while still maintaining high level of accuracy, exceptional execution capabilities

Strong relationship skills to manage external and internal relationships Ability to build rapport and work closely with cross-functional teams, have great interpersonal and communications skills

Proficient in English Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel)

Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques Strong analytical skills to determine and action on business trends, identify and prioritize key risks and recommend adequate corrective actions Adaptability and dynamism given the evolution of the Credit Ops
