Position Title Head FM Operations - India

Job Description The Head Facility Management (FM) Operations - India is accountable for establishing and executing the overall strategy for FM operational delivery which is an integral part of overall REFS mission This involves direct responsibility, oversight and interaction with strategic third party providers that directly support FM operational delivery The incumbent will be responsible for building and managing relationships with companies that supply services to, and on behalf of REFS and work to ensure that vendors meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services
A key component of the role will be to provide country direction, ensure alignment and consistency within REFS India operations, to drive supplier governance and innovation activities and continuously improve all aspects of service delivery, such as service offerings, quality, technology, reporting, etc contributing to refinement of the region REFS strategy adaptation to country internal customer base He/ She will contribute to the success of REFS by helping to drive year on year service and cost improvements within country through increased efficiency and productivity, and will leverage internal and supplier relationships to support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the services and optimize costs to drive value for Novartis

Your Responsibilities
Manage FM service delivery and operations applying a consistent global operating model for FM service delivery
Working closely with key strategic FM providers and with REFS functions to align supply with demand requirements as well as internal targets
Initiates and manages FM improvements initiatives/ special projects portfolio, involving operational opportunities and provider-driven improvements covering all aspects of FM services (eg service offering, quality, cost, technology, processes, etc)
Provides direction for managing third party IFM providers ensuring optimum and accurate manpower support
Maintain robust Governance structure (country/ site levels), policies and procedures for effective service/ supplier management and delivery in REFS as a whole, meeting REFS and local regulatory policies and requirements
Evaluates and manages operational FM supply/ delivery risks including supplier risks (compliance, quality, dependencies), commercial risks, business continuity and regulatory/ compliance risks Ensures consistent implementation of global approaches to risk management, impact assessment and risk mitigation plans
Establishes KPIs and reporting requirements to enable service levels to be evaluated Work in closely in collaboration with Service Performance and Business Process Leads
Confirm SOPs have been instituted for all Service Levels/site and are up to date Verify asset Ensure the development of induction programs to familiarize the new suppliers with the companys business processes and quality systems
Monitors delivery reliability, quality and accuracy, ensuring savings and service goals of agreements are delivered
Lead regular service review meetings with major IFM suppliers, FS COE Head, Finance and Procurement business partners regularly to monitor progress against issues and to ensure that an agreed level of service is maintained
Facilitate Suppliers delivery of Services per Novartis and Country HSE requirements (policies/regulations) achieve sustainability targets Assist cGMP compliance, audits, maintenance across portfolio of sites, working closely with IFM, HSE and QMS teams
Be accountable for Country operating budget from development of the annual operating plan, to forecast and tracking of monthly/quarterly finances Collaborate with Finance and Accounting in meeting various financial and accounting requirements of operating, capital and reporting

Minimum requirements What youll bring to the role
Post Graduate with a preferred professional qualification in Facilities Management / Engineering discipline or a relevant equivalent
Excellent English (written and spoken)
