The Role Responsibilities

The Head, Digital Transformation & Innovation is responsible for driving transformation and innovation strategy and agenda in HK and GCNA region

Digital Transformation & Innovation

Build and grow digital transformation and digital & innovation strategy
Communicate compelling and well thought out digital & innovative solutions to complex problems
Oversee the execution of Agile digital transformation projects, ensuring costs, schedule and quality are on target, and the that risk and issues are tracked and mitigated
Lead a multi-disciplinary team in the planning and execution of digital transformation strategy workshop, including adopting appropriate approach/methods, facilitation techniques, pre-work and deliverables
Trend scout for emerging technologies to define new, and to evolve existing services provided to business
Lead the process for purposing innovation and target solution - including GBA build initiative for T&I
Lead in developing and presenting digital transformation thought leadership

Team Management

Build and develop a high performing team to support T&I

Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values

Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development, ensure that direct reports are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks

Employ, engage and retain high quality people

Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives

Governance

Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Groups arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas

Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Responsible for delivering effective governance; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner

Our Ideal Candidate

Solid experience in digital or technology focused roles spanning strategy, architecture (business, data, information systems, infrastructure) and/or delivery functions driving digital transformation and digital strategy, leveraging emerging technologies
Demonstrated project delivery experience and strong track record of leading organization-wide transformation programs
Entrepreneurial mindset, with exceptional drive and commitment for innovation
Operating model transformation with strong understanding of contemporary operating model design and transformation trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating digital transformation & innovation topics to stakeholders at all levels from technologists to executives
Able to lead the planning, organization and facilitation of executive-level digital planning workshops and the ability to leverage emerging technologies to transform business models
Excellent interpersonal skills especially in areas of team leadership, influence and negotiation
A talent magnet with strong talent leadership skills
